Customer reviewThe owner (unfriendly) closed down the hostel on our day of arrival and said she'd made arrangements for us in 2 different hostels for the 3 nights. these hostels were barely aware of our arrival (the second not at all), and she denied the fact that she got a deposit and wouldn't refund us. Fortunately the owner of one of the 2 hostels was very friendly and sorted us in his brand new hostel for cheaper and much better room. I recommend it, Hostal Besaya c/san bernardo |

Customer reviewthis hostel is in the madrid downtown itself, has great view on Gran Via street. this is one of those places where You can enjoy in oldfashion building and feel very comfortable at the same time.. it has old and pretty fancy elevator too. You get to have your own keys of hostel and building so You do not have to worry about working hours at night. bathroom is very good with hot water and very clean. there is small tv. channels are all in spanish, but i guess You do not really need tv in case of tourist visit to madrid. stuff are very pleasent. room has privacy so it's really good for couples, and at the same time not so good to meet other people.. general conclusion - choose Astur hostel over all the others ;) |

Tomasz Gutowskithe lady manager was very friendly and helping, location is in the city center at the main street but windows and blinds are silent so it wasnt noisy at all. building is very stylish and it was one of few iluminated at night so it looked gorgeous. truely recommended! |

CHEUNG FUNG YI ,ASAit's really a very nice,clean & friendly little apartment located at the safe & convenience area just a few mins. fr. the meter. i definitely will recommend this apartment to my fd if they visit Medrid. The house lady is very helpful & kind. I & my niece have had very deep sleep cos the beds is so comfortable !!!!! |

I definitely recomend the hostel. However, if you get a room with a window along Gran Via it can be very loud at night and hard to sleep... |

David SainzVery clean and very nice staff. The location is very good! In the Gran Via. It is not the kind of place to mingle with people, as it hasn't facilities such a TV, kitchen, or Internet rooms. However, as a place to sleep in is totally recommendable. |
