No wonder it's so cheap. Miles away from central Madrid. We had to stay there one night because of a screw up at our other hostel and it was literally a place to sleep and we left. No one spoke english and we had only one friend who spoke spanish so it was hard. Luckily the other people staying there were nice and helpful. It's ok on the inside but located in a really run down area.

The hostel was very clean and big, looked like it was a farely new hostel. Staff was friendly. Just in a very bad location on the out skirts of Madrid, was way to far from everything. Nothing really to do near, had to either walk over almost 30mins to a metro, take a cab into town or find a bus stop. Other than that it was a nice looking place and very big, if you want a cheap place to stay and dont mind the distance it is fine

The place is amazingly far from the city center. We paid 15-20 euros each time to go by taxi into the center. Further, there's not a nice atmosphere, and the staff is not willing to help you to arrange a taxi for you.

The hostel is in a very far away corner of Madrid, a fact that I should have paid more attention to when booking it. I was a woman travelling alone and have been in every corner of the world but was actually too scared to walk or take the bus from the metro to the hostel. Luckily the taxi only costs about 5 euros. Apparently there are not many women travellers at this hostel, but there are a lot of newly arrived immigrants (men). Sometimes their behaviour made me feel a bit crowded.

it was clean. but it did not feel safe as everytime we went downstairs we got stared at by the residents which is not a nice feeling being so far away from central madrid as well. because of this we also didnt feel comfortable using any of the facilites like internet or phone, we just wanted to get up to our room. when we arrived there was no receptionist for ages, which happened a couple of times when we needed help with something - not very "24hr".

It has a great, nice and helpful staff, great and clean facilities, including showers and WC. It's very confortable! Downsides: no free WiFi Internet (paid extra), bad breakfast and lunch (paid extra), bad and not-welcoming atmosphere and poor localization. Perhaps this is the most annoying thing about this Hostel: to the heart of Madrid it takes about 40min. by bus (the line closes between 23h-6h) and metro.

The location was only two blocks from a bus station that would run you right to the metro station, and ran about every 15 minutes. The fact that there were ample phone booths inside the building made it very easy to stay in contact, with added use of the relatively inexpensive internet. I would recommend this location to a friend if they are sure to have no problem taking the metro and or bus every day to get to the downtown center of Madrid. I was able to do various day and night activities while in the city and had no problem getting back to the hostel afterward.

Location was quite far from central Madrid - had to take a bus and a 30min metro to get to Gran Via/Sol. Rooms and bathrooms were clean and spotless however there were no doors on the shower cubicles. There were 2 computers for the internet in the lobby - not enough for the amount of people staying there, only 1 of the computers worked while we were there anyways. Staff were friendly. A little uncomfortable with the amount of middle-aged men at this hostel, who would congregate on the steps outside and ogle you as you walked in/out the building. Would not recommend this hostel if you are a female travelling alone.

Good hostel at very fair price. Sadly the area (industrial park) and some guest (seems like permanent low cost living for seasonal workers from abroad) do not make you feel secure. However altogether a good place for cheap money. Please note the remote place (however the connection is good).

Unless you want to go through Magellan's expedition to find the place, it is not recommended. Moreover, buses going there stop at 11pm, so if you want to return later you have to take a taxi (which are rare), or walk for 20 mins. A terrible place to meet people, and the atmosphere feels like a hospital. On the positive side of things, a really new and a clean building. A calm accomodation suitable for a person who wants to concentrate on some work.
