my favourite place in Madrid, stayed here on a second occasion and it exceeded the first time. the people are super nice, the place is very clean, cozy and calm and it's near the center of the city.

The location was excellent just a few minutes walk from the metro which you can take from the airport. The room was clean and quiet. The lady receptionist was helpful and friendly and the maid spoke very good English and helpful though the male receptionist did not speak much English but we communicated OK in the end.

The hostel was in a good location and we got what we expected from the price - a clean room to stay cheaply in the centre of Madrid. I should add, however, you should make sure you get towels on your first day otherwise you will get unfairly accused of stealing them and subsequently charged when you leave...

The hostal is really good ! It is located in the center of the city, very quiet and clean. Our room was cosy, equipted with a shower and a TV set. The staff made the stay even more pleasant.

This place is in an excellent location in the centre of Madrid. You can reach most main tourist attractions by foot, otherwise the next Metro Station is only a few yards away. The hostel is quiet and safe. The rooms are quite small but clean. Overall, it represents good value for money and I would happily recommend it to all those who are on a budget.

Right in the heart of the city, inches from the Gran Via, yet up a quiet side street, the location is perfect. You're only a few minutes walk from both the buzzing backstreets of Malasana and the more towny shopping area of Callao. The Hostal itself is clean and quiet, with amiable an d helpful staff, and comfy beds. While it may not be one of the more rock and roll destions, you'll get a good night's kip in easy staggering distance from most of the city's best night spots. Vegetarian travellers will be pleased to discover the all you can eat veggie Chinese buffet directly outside the front door! Oh, and don't be put off by thre aforementioned working girls who ply their trade in the street outside the hostal. They'll leave you alone if you don't look like you're on the cruise, and will even exchang a few words if you treat them like humans. All in all, not half a bad place to stay!
