Liked: The location was perfect, right near the metro and in the middle of Gran Via. Additionally, the staff was incredibly kind and helpful in giving advice. The room itself was clean, and included a safe and tv, which was nice - and rare- to have in the room. I would definitely stay here again.

Disliked: The property itself was perfect, although the people in the next room got loud at night. This was, however, unavoidable and probably uncommon.

Liked: Very friendly staff, good location- basic but exactly what you need when you are out enjoying Madrid and just need a quiet comfy bed to sleep in.

Liked: The rooms are big. We booked a double ensuite and a single ensuite. Very clean as well. The hostel was close to everything. Make sure you take the 1EURO card for De Solera tapas bar -- it is awesome! Would definitely recommend to others. Really worth the money! A+++

Disliked: Perhaps extra blanket for the beds. Quite cold at night.

Liked: Location, helpful staff, good value for the money.

Disliked: The building itself didn't seem too secure, but the hostel was being taken good care off anytime I went (there's someone watching who enters and exists). Not a good place for meeting people.

Liked: Facilities were limited but as a single female traveller I liked having a room to myself at a very good price given the central location. Staff were amazing - they were so helpful with directions, information and just in general, really very nice. There was always someone up at all hours so I felt very safe and the building is quite secure. And a few steps away from Gran Via and a metro station (Callao)! And a 15min walk down Gran Via will get you to the Airport Bus (40min direct service to all terminals for only 2 euros).

Disliked: It wasn't a party hostal and was mainly private rooms but to be honest, I actually liked that because you could still go out and meet up with other hostal groups to go party if that was what you wanted to do.

Liked: clean, and the staff is really friendly and helpful.

Disliked: as stated, there is no good shower equipment in twin beds room , you don't have any privacy.

Liked: Extremely helpful staff. Big comfortable room. Incredible location right in the middle of Madrid. Exactly what I was looking for.

Disliked: Not an excellent place to meet people since there is no real common area, but I wasn't really worried about that. One of the receptionists didn't speak english, but that wasn't a problem for me since I speak spanish.

Liked: I liked how it was very quiet in the inn and they had free WIFI access. They were also just off a main shopping street so you were very close to everything.

Disliked: It was quiet noisy on the street side which our window was on. I also didn't like how you felt like you needed to be in your room. I sat in the lounge to read my book and every time i moved they came out and looked at me.

Liked: The hostel is central situated.

Disliked: This facade is almost not to see.

Liked: Nice place and a good value. It's very convenient for seeing the sites and for the metro. There are many food options in the area too. The staff was pleasant.

Disliked: We visited during the low season, so the place was quiet. But it seems the walls are thin and sound would travel between rooms. There wasn't any street noise though.

Liked: Its ideal location, that is just less than 5minutes walk from the metro station. The fact that it is in the middle of the entire shopping stretch in Gran Via is another plus point.

Disliked: It's kind of quiet at night. Not a place that you can meet new people especially for solo travellers.
