Liked: Location was great, walking distance from many sites. Clean room. Very friendly staff- they gave us a great recommendation for a flamenco show.

Disliked: Our room smelled like fresh paint, and it was a bit weird having a shower right next to the bed.

Liked: Staff is really helpful and kind people. They do their best. Location of the hostel is great. It is so close to a metro station and it is located one of the main streets of Madrid. Considering the price location is more than wonderful. Room was clean and lovely.

Disliked: Not much... the guy at the reception was not speaking English but we managed to communicate somehow. He was quite helpful though.

Liked: Very clean, there are safes in every room.

Disliked: It was hard to find. It is up a very little street.

Liked: Nice rooms with own bathroom, just shared WC, all very clean, location in the very center of Madrid.

Disliked: Quite loud in there, but it is due to the location in center.

Liked: Good location, friendly and helpful staff, they taking care of your luggage even after checking out! The private room even included shower which I didn’t expect. Hostel is clean, safe and silent, ideal if you are travelling alone & looking for a place only for a good sleeping! I can highly recommend it!

Disliked: It was hard to find at the first time, for me not because of the hostel’s location but because of the confusing building numbers of Gran Via. So if you approach it from Metro Callao it’s easy, anyway I highly recommend to have a map with you!:)

Liked: We loved the location, it was a five minute walk to the centre of sol, idea for the night life! The room was clean and tidy, exactly as it appeared on the website. It was just perfect for our stay, we will be returning again very soon! Best of all, AMAZING value for money!

Disliked: There really isn't anything I can think of! The shower flooded everytime we used it, but it really wasn't a big deal... just don't leave anything on the floor!

Liked: Was a good change to have your own privacy in your room with your own shower. Location is very good, right off of the main street in Madrid.

Disliked: There is 0 vibe at this place.

Disliked: there were prostitutes in front of the building and I guess they were doing their business inside the building.. the walls were thin so we heard noises all night..

Liked: Very nice hostel. It was very simple (no breakfast, bar, etc), but overall, just a nice place to stay right off of Gran Via. The rooms and bathroom facilities were always kept clean and the staff were some of the nicest people I've met.

Disliked: There was nothing I specifically disliked about this hostel.

Disliked: outside the hostel, the streets were rowdy late hours of the night.

Liked: Feels more like a cheap hotel than youth hostel, nicely decorated.

Disliked: Just a note - there are prostitutes right next to the entrance to the hostel. On the other hand, it feels safe as there's also a police station just around the corner. There's just a couple of chairs in the reception, no lounge to meet people or hang out.

Liked: Friendly Staff, little english.

Disliked: No air conditioning. Limited Shared Toilets. Pay more for the en-suite bathroom. Place was a little hard to find due to sketchy directions. Even the Information Counter located outside the metro didn't know where this street was (she pointed me to Calle de Arenal) - which was quite a far walk away in the wrong direction!

Liked: Very friendly and helpful staff, upgraded me to a room with a private bathroom. Good location off Gran Via. Everything in the room was a bit tired and worn but clean and functional.

Disliked: Travelling alone, I didn't like the location down the side street late at night (but once inside the hostel, it felt very safe and secure).
