Liked: Location. Felt very new.

Disliked: No kitchen (apart from a microwave) No bath mat so the bathroom quickly became soaked by people getting out of the shower. Leaky toilet. No fan in bathroom and we weren't allowed to open the window so the bathroom was always wet. Very cold at night (heating not working very well in December and only one small blanket each)

Liked: clean and looks modern.

Disliked: too noise at night, the air conditions didn't work on the 3rd floor, that we had to keep the window open, but it was really loadly and noise at night, can not fall asleep.

Liked: Everything was excellent. The staff absolutely helpfull, the location in a walking distance to the center of madrid, internet access (wi-fi and pc's) for free, organized activities, and very secure atmosphere.

Disliked: Not dislike, but maybe the breakfast. Toasts, coffee and juice basically. But since it is included in the price it was ok.

Liked: Big rooms, very clean, very open spaces.

Disliked: Not a very good atmosphere, no one was ever in the common room, where the stereo did not work and you had to ask to use the TV. The kitchen was always closed

Liked: the rooms are really excellent! Very clean and quite large! And each room has it's own bathroom which is twice as big as my own! They offer a lot of activities, like a free guided walking tour through Madrid which is really excellent. Also other activities like pub-crawls or flamenco-shows are really recommendable as well.

Disliked: there is not really a place to hang out with other people. Therefore you don't really get to meet as many people as in other hostels and the atmosphere isn't as good. Also they don't really inform you that well about the activities they offer in cooperation with other hostels, so you really gotta ask for them.

Liked: Both the reception staff and the staff serving breakfast are very friendly and helpful. The building is a beautiful modern place, it's really big. The rooms are spacious, quiet and clean. They organize a guided tour of the city each day, which is free and a wonderful way to have a first impression of Madrid and get to know other young people staying at the hostel. Free wifi.

Disliked: There's no outdoor space, like a roof terras or a balcony or something in the building. A nice-to-have, but no big deal. I think few youth hostels have this anyway.

Liked: really modern and clean ambience. friendly and helpful staff that speak multiple languages. really enjoyed the free walking tour given every morning- great way to see the city, with a highly entertaining guide, Pablo! So many facilities and services offered, you forget you are in a hostel- highly recommended!

Disliked: there was a small stain on my sheets, nothing major though

Liked: It was clean and centrally located. Metro access was very convenient and the staff was very nice and very helpful

Disliked: The entire place felt very cold. No one really talked to anyone else and we didn't even get to know the people in our own room. It made the experience kind of awkward and uncomfortable. The lockers they provided also required 1 euro to re-lock each time and you didn't have the option of using your own lock on it. It was an ok place to stay for one night but I'm glad it was only a stop off for us and not a destination.

Liked: It was clean, safe and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Disliked: I only had cold water in the shower for 1 out of my 2 night stay. The air conditioning didn't work in my room. The shower head holder was broken. There weren't enough seats at breakfast. There were fairly young teenagers running around and making noise late at night.

Liked: The hostel is very modern and neat. The rooms are in good shape and the lockers only require a 1 euro deposit. Internet is free which is great, and there is a billiards room. It is probably the best hostel I stayed in during my time in Europe.

Disliked: The hostel lacked some atmosphere in the common areas. There weren't quite as many people to meet as usual. Also, there is no fridge - but this is rare in any hostel.

Liked: You will never find kind of this hostel with this price! It was perfectly clean and safe good location, nice reception:) I enjoyed a lot in Madrid thanks to this hostel! You can take a shower in your room that's the good thing! And awfully clean!

Disliked: Don't have bad things but pretty hard to hang out with other people

Liked: The location not bad good space larger than any hostel I stayed It's clean and safe you have to pay 1 euro everytime you lock Lockers but then you get it back.Staff are very helpful and friendly. Close to shopping area and supermarket. Overall it was okay stay.

Disliked: It's costly for people that are older than 25 due to extra fee.Bfast was not Great just toast muffins and basic stuff.and if you to occupy Rooms near street very noisy hardly sleep during my stay.And no Place to eat dinner comedor is closed after bf no place to cook dinner And not allowed to bring food in the room. Btw if you need to print Something like boarding pass do it outside no printer.
