I was that fascinated by this Hostel!! I have never choosen a place to tay that was that great!! Breakfast, Internet, very clean rooms (and I'm a delicate person! ;) ) , lockers, very near to the centre, offers for the evenings... and all that for 17€/night!! I was travelling alone in Spain, but I've never felt lonely, I spent the week-end at Madrid and I've met very much people because of the dining organisated by the hostel! Thanks a lot!! I would go ther twice without any doubt!!

A very clean hostel with nice, private rooms and lockers for your bags. One of the nicer hostels where I have stayed.

AJ is a great hostel, but when my brother and I stayed it was quite empty of people. We were in a room to ourselves (which was great by itself), but we didn't hardly see anyone else in the whole hostel. But the place was clean and the staff nice, so you can't go wrong there.

Great hostel if you just want to sleep. For older travellers (ie over 18), it is not a good place to meet people as there are a lot of tour groups of very young students (travelling in extra large packs) ... but if you are travelling with a friend: great breakfast, super clean etc ... except the shower can potentially flood the whole room, perhaps a sign warning that it will flood (because it has awesome water pressure), I ended up floodign the room to like 3cm and it took over an hour to clean (with the lovely assistance of the lovely staff) because there was not a drain ...

It isv very nice and clean but one feels more in a public building than in a hostel. I just stayed one night and it was very noisy ! Lots of young people walking around the corridors until late night.

Been staying in a variety of hostels in Europe, this one definitely exceeds all my expectations on how good a hostel can be. 5 star recommendation goes to it!

Very clean and modern. Definitely has a lot of character for a hostel, but unfortunately it's also not great for meeting other travellers. Very clean and breakfast was typical for a hostel (toast and juice). Would definitely recommend.

The best thing about this property was it's cleanness. I also met with good people who stay in the hostel just like me.

The Albergue is very recent and is a fun place to discover Madrid.

I liked the friendly staff, but they made a mistake with our reservation. One of the staffmembers can't speak sufficient English.

Staff were very nice and friendly. Not right in the center of the city but a very easy metro ride, or nice half hour leisurely walk. Clean, free breakfast, bedding included. I felt safe which was a small concern being a young woman traveling alone. Also free internet, so although slightly more expensive than some hostels for all the free services you get it is actually a better deal.

Excellent value for money, never expected such a modern, upmarket building to be a hostel. Well done!

Bathroom was in the room. Lockers were big and you didn't need to bring your own lock. Breakfast was included in the price.

The place was really really clean, decent breakfast, and more like a hotel than a hostel.
