Liked: The hostel has hotel standard, with a nice buffet for breakfast. The locacion is in the middle of a buisy quarter with many Tapas Bars and nightlife, situated at a small plaza with possibility to sit outside having a drink. Our room had the windows to the backyard so it was really quiet. Internet is available for 1 € for 15 minutes.

Liked: Location. The squares surrounding the hotel have really good atmosphere. Bars and restaurants are all in very close proximity.

Liked: Great location, some very friendly staff (certainly not all!), value for money, clean room and bathroom. generally a very comfortable stay, and we would go back.

Liked: Great location in the center and near many restaurants and bars. The walls of the room were very thin, which disturbed the sleep a little, but still I would recommend this hotel because of the friendly staff and great location.

Liked: Good location, rooms very clean, staff helpful. What I didn't like was the fact that the rooms are not soundproofed and there was considerable amount of noise in the night comming from other guests.

Liked: We most appreciated the friendliness of the whole staff and the "strategic" position of the hotel, located near the pulsing heart of Madrid (Pl. Sol) on a little silent square from which, on foot, you can reach any of the most important destinations: Pl. Mayor 600 metres far, Prado 1 km, and so on

Liked: We were two women traveling on our own and Hostal Persal was safe, clean and central for sightseeing. We enjoyed the lavish breakfast as the meal also gave us the opportunity to meet holiday makers from other countries. I have already recommended it to my family and friends so keep up the good work. I hope to be back some day with my husband and children.

Liked: I liked from this hostel that the atmosphere felt comfortable and safe, especially while travelling alone. The staff at the reception was kind and helpful. The cleaning staff as well, even one of the ladies help me with my luggage. Elevator was out of service but in just a few hours came back to service. Breakfast really good, great croissants!!! Location is ideal!!! Just a Wonderful experience I highly recommend it! Just a suggestion for the hostal would be to create signs of "do not disturb".
