Liked: International Youth Hostel La Posada de Huertas is very near museos Thyssen-Bornemisza and Prado and Puerta Del Sol. I had the chance to meet people from other countries. The staffers are very warm and helpful. With its price and value for money, i recommend to fellow visitors and i return to the hostel again. Kudos!

Liked: A good hostel with a fun party vibe. The only downside were the cold showers- the bathrooms could definitely be better. Other than that, breakfast was good and there are heaps of fun activities to get into as well which was good. Great location too.

Liked: location, close to important museums! food shops are nearby good lockers but the door lock is too difficult to opennice place to meet other travellersreceptionists are ok friendly but the staff who help cleaning are a bit rude though

Liked: The hotel is really well located!!! However the place is not fun at all and the room for all the people is really small!!!If you are looking for fun don't go to this hostel!!All the facilities were out of order and the showers always with cold water :(Good staff! and good value for money!

Liked: very dirty, they didn't have hot shower, it was not cold, but warm :/It's close to the mainly attractions.I don't recomend this hostel.

Liked: Wifi area was small only limited to the reception area. The small lamps that they install by the beds are really good and innovative.. Location is excellent close to main attractions.

Liked: It was a friendly hostel, but pretty expensive so I had thought that the breakfast that was included would have been a bit better. Apart from that I had nothing to complain about to be honest, it is perfectly situated I found, huertas is a nice street to begin exploring from, friendly staff and quite clean.

Liked: the hostel had no charecter, felt like a big building bought by a company purely to make money, not for travellers who want to stay a while. the showers were quite horrible as the hot water runs out at around 10am when everyone gets up. staff were horrible and rude, at the end of breakfast we hadn't even finished eating and the staff person started cleaning requiring us to move our plates etc and then asking us out.it was in a good location.

Liked: Nice place to stay while visiting Madrid. Easy to reach most important sites by foot. It should have a better commom area to meet with other guests.

Liked: 1. How central it was to the city centre2. The internet was free and available all day long3. The breakfast was free4. The rooms were very clean and the beds were comfortable, with sheets, pillow and blanket provided5. The security inside, and to get in, was phenomenal! I felt very comfortable keeping my stuff at the hostel because it could go in my locker, under lock and key that only I could open6. The activites provided by the hostel were better than I could have ever imagined. Pablo was our acitivites manager and he took us to some of the most genuine Madrid places, and gave us the true Madrid experience that we hoped for (didn't take us to tourist stops, just the real deal, Madrid kind of places). The flamenco outing was amazing!!

Liked: Our first night we were put in the wrong room and when I said something when I saw our sex was marked male instead of female on our cards they said we had booked a mixed room which we hadnt. Turned out that room was for all men anyways so even tho the guys were all nice (10 beds) we wanted a female only room. Once we got that it was really nice. The rooms are big and have lockers and everyone was friendly especially the cleaner! It definitely helps to speak Spanish here...otherwise a little difficult. Centrally located, so expect a lot of noise late at night from outside. We had trouble with the locks at first but figured it out (you'll see it's hard to open the doors at first). Other than the screw up it was a great place to meet other people.

Liked: Perfect location, excellent services from the staff, free access to internet computers and free boarding pass printing, along with a free breakfast. You can't beat this hostel, especially for the price! One of the best parts are the organized activities the hostal runs, including Tapas hopping and Flamenco dancing (Thanks Pablo!).
