The activities organised by the hostel were very good and interesting and cheap, particularly the drinking game night.

The hostel is conveniently just outside the metro stop. The toilet stalls definitely need more space and light. When I checked in, it took forever. I had to wait around 20 minutes before I was able to check in.

Overall good hostel- very clean and good location, though street outside a little noisy at night. Reception staff were kinda miserable- esp blonde woman (service with a smile would be nice!), also she didn't want to do anything when i told her my key wouldn't lock my locker (just said some french guy is coming in the morning- which didn't help at the time!) but did after my friend made her! Black guy was the same and kinda rude with me when i didn't understand him when he told me to do something with the door (isn't that his job?), also did not find his "joke" funny when he told me i couldn't get in the left luggage room! Although John the activity guy was great- very knowlegeable and helpful! Tapas tour was OK- good way to meet people. Also don't expect much from the breakfast: just toast, cereal, coffee and OJ (some bottled water would have been good!) but its OK for free I guess.

I loved it. Apart from central location and interesting design it had everything a traveller needs: air conditioning, individual pretty large lockers in rooms (!), great kitchen with all equipment including a wine opener fixed to the wall, individual lights and power sockets next to each bed, great breakfast and someone always cleaning even if some of the travellers did not. I'd come back for sure.

Great location to start any trip around most important points in Madrid. Close to everything. Stuff is friendy and they truly care about you to have a good time. The streets around are noisy so this is not place for light-sleepers. Best strategie is go to sleep drunk (as many others does) so you will be noisy also. The bathrooms are tiny and not as clean as they should. The price is fair. There is a lot of worst places

The man that worked at the front desk was extremely helpful! He even let us store our luggage after we had checked out for the day. Also, there was free WiFi!
