Liked: Great location, always clean, free computer use, and very sweet people working the front desk.

Disliked: There isn't a lounge where you can just hang out with people, unless you count the dining/computer rooms but they're closed after 11:30pm. The keys are a bit confusing, so make sure you clearly understand them before you have anything to drink.

Liked: Best part was it is very clean

Disliked: Well, not really a bad thing but the cleaners were too quick to clean up the bathroom and they took the shower gel i left in there

Liked: They offered lots of activities to help us explore the city such as the tapas tour where we tried some great traditional tapas and some interesting drinks. They also has a free walking tour leaving from here which was great.

Disliked: Push button showers. Single sex dorms which meant i was seperated from my partner.

Liked: It was very central to all the sights in Madrid and very close to a metro station.

Disliked: The showers had no place to put your close. The male and female bathrooms were right next to each other and when the door was open you could see right into the showers.

Liked: It is clean and very good in security system even for the room key nor for the locker. I like how they put a real locker in the room for every one, and also they provide every bed with one of power plug so it is easy for us to keep our electronics belongings when it is charged. They have lift this what I like it most, so I don't have to carry my heavy luggage through the stairs. This is just the best hostel I have ever met since my trip in Europe

Liked: This was one of the best hostels I stayed at in all 6 weeks of my travels in Europe. I loved all the fun events this placed provided every night, from the free paella, free sangria pong, free city tours, flamenco performances, and awesome pubcrawls. I did not stop partying the whole time I was there. When I got my wallet and phone stolen, the people at the front desk were really helpful and they even managed to receive mail for me. I am forever grateful.

Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: Staff is very friendly, plus they really do clean the hostel every day. There is a lot of organised activities and the kitchen-computer area to socialize. I also recommend the guided tour with Pablo.

Liked: It's really near to the Metro & I found the staff on both the day & night shifts to be very courteous.

Liked: This is in a great location, you can walk there from the main train station, however i was loaded up with heavy bags so i caught the metro, easy peasy. The walking tour i highly recommend as Harriott is rad and fun! Some rooms are big, others are pretty small, but comfy beds, lockers for your stuff and they're clean. Bathrooms are clean.

Disliked: i hated the fact that they arent looking out for the environment, with only plastic cups and bowls and cutlery available in the kitchen...every breakfast loads of waste. So i wouldnt plan on cooking food here. And apparently the pub crawl isnt the best one....word on the street

Liked: Excellent hostel and would definitely recommend anyone thinking of travelling to Madrid to go there. Communal area is a great place to meet new people and hang out or organise nights out in Madrid, I turned up on my own and found it easy to meet new people as everyone seems to be on the same page! Hostel entrance, rooms and lockers are safe and secure and I never got the feeling that I was going to have anything taken. Free internet and a good breakfast of toast and jam, cereal, orange juice and coffee was the cherry on top of a great whole package! Didn't try the tapas night or the pub crawl as it was so easy to get along with new people, the free walking tour of madrid with Pablo (not Pedro!) was excellent value for the 4 euro tip I gave him and is definitely recommended early on in your stay (although you dont't have to give a cent, he doesn't seem the type to pressure you). Overall an excellent hostel and great value for money.

Disliked: Not much really, maybe that there are only 4 computers with free internet access available but thats nitpicking really.

Liked: great location, great place to meet other travellers, it was clean and tidy and our room even had our own bathroom, i would stay there again make sure you do the free tour around the city, it was a great way to see the place in a few hours.

Disliked: the kitchen was a little small and breakfast time was a little packed, however that is nothing to worry about

Liked: There is an elevator, which is SO nice when you are lugging around a huge suitcase, the lockers were decently sized (I even saw a few BIG backpacks get stuffed into them), the luggage storage is SUPER secure (which is not always the case at hostels), the internet worked really well (but if you aren't staying on the 1st floor you'll have to come and sit in the reception area to get access, which didn't seem to be a big deal). You are given 1 "key" (it looks like a watch) that gives you access to the front door, your room, and your locker. And the free tour (the only activity that the hostel provided that I can vouch for) was great, if not a little long (I'd bring a snack and water if I did it again).

Disliked: The product that they use to clean has a pretty heavy smell. It disapates after a while, but if you get there right at check in time....whew! If you don't bring your own computer you may have to wait a long time to get access to one of the 4 public ones they have available.

Liked: Free wfif was great although it cut out fairly often. The location was close to everything. Not to loud.

Disliked: Bathrooms were tiny and unclean. Ladder to top bunk was very awkward.

Liked: Very comfortable and very practical for me with free wi-fi everywhere and luggage room. Lots of other people to meet and socialise with, but quiet enough to rest. Fantastic location and staff.

Disliked: Nothing I can think of that I disliked. The colour of the walls maybe...

Liked: Great hostel, easy to get too. Great walking tour and crazy pubcrawl. Activites were good and the staff were happy to help if you needed anything else. the rooms had great ac and a little balcony that overlooked the street. Courtyard was great to chill out in and free computers to use. Would definetly stay here again. :)

Disliked: The brekfast was with warm milk... Big problems using the washer and dryer, no sign that one wasnt working wasted 6 euros and had to wait twice as long.

Liked: The location is excellent, very clean, people from staff are very kind and welcoming and the lockers are very safe.

Disliked: I had trouble connecting to wi fi, many times the server was down.

Liked: everything! individual bed lights for each bed, tall bunk beds so the lower bunk doesnt get a head ache ever time they smash their head in the morning, alright breakfast, omg the free sangria drinking games night is the best. drank like two litres of sangria. excellent for solo travellers. free walking tour is also brilliant. i had harriet. awesome n funny receptionist excellent as the black guy helped me find out info on 90% off opera tickets (I saw TOSCA!) and then we mused on love and life
