Liked: reasonably cheap place in San Antonio. The apartment was very large with a great bathroom. Close to the beach at San Antonio.

Disliked: the kitchen facilities were very basic and it was a little bit of a walk out of the main area of San Antonio.

Liked: Great location with the beach down the street and the night life just a short walk away. Close to bus station when commuting from the airport. Basic kitchen but was great to have. Air con was fantastic !!

Disliked: Not all staff members were helpful and welcoming- not what you need after a day of traveling. Had to return to front desk several times as were not given correct info or any at all. Couldn't pay with card so had to go trekking around for ATM at night. 20euro deposit for air-con remote??? Basic essentials missing from kitchen- cloth, detergent, knife, towel etc

Liked: Clean, friendly staff, close to the beach and not too far into town, rooms quite big so good value for money

Disliked: couldnt see the pool anywhere! Also, don't expect a quiet nights sleep as all guests are very noisy all hours and every noise echos but if you are out clubbing anyway it wont matter!

Liked: great location, it's about 30 meters from the beach and some great bars overlooking the sea. The staff at reception are very helpfull. It's a 10min walk to the main clubbing and bar area of san antonio. we statyed in a twin share, which was good value and good to have your own space for a bit after staying in shared rooms for a while.

Disliked: You don't get to meet as many people in hostel itself but you make up for it when you go out at night.

Liked: Luckily our we did not have anybody in the rooms at either side of ours. until our last night.People were in the room next door and were rather noisy when they arrived in from a night out and this was through the walls that we were disturbed at about 4-7am.As i said this was through walls, if we had people staying in the other room at the other side it would have been awful as there was a door that linked teh two rooms together, the room we were put in originally that did not have a balcony had people in teh otehr room with teh linking door and it was like been in teh same room as them without seeing them.One of teh staff members seemed very carefree and not in a rush to work and although the room was cleaned on a daily basis the standard was low.

Liked: location to the beach! Formentera 1 is seconds away from Calo de Moro. a far better beach than along the mainstretch of town. I also can't compliment the staff enough for being kind and wonderful, however sometimes a bit slow at reception.

Liked: I really enjoyed the stay at Formentera, the apartment was over all nice. A view other than a wall would have been desirable, also the shower in our apartment was a bit iffy (couldn't really feel any difference between full on hot or cold and it sprayed the wall more than you, though I guess it can be better in other apartments). Our apartment had a fridge, cooking facilities (a stow), TV and AC (both remotes had a 20 € deposit, didn't get the tv one but the AC was a must have).The staff was really helpful and polite. They also sold club tickets in the reception with the same (some time even better) prices as in town, which was really convenient.There was a Supermarcado (a shop) right across the street, a beach a block away and walking along the walkway you were about 4 min from Café Del Mar, even closer to Kenya and other nice bars. Walking along the beach walkway to San Antonio didn't take long and it was a really pleasant walk and San Antonio it self was a calm and easy going town.I would stay there if I did the same trip again and I will recommend it to anyone going there on a budget.
