Borys KosmynkaThe staff was very helpful. The only thing was that the room was extremely small, but if you want a very cheap place it is ok. But paying not much more you can find much better places in the very center of Granada. |

Customer reviewThe only thing good was the price... after they switched us from Dona Lupe where were supposed to stay to some other hostel where the room was the smallest I've stayed at in Europe (that's saying something) with paper thin walls in a location where we didn't want to be. I feel that we were taken advantage of because I called ahead to confirm our room, and they told us to "meet them" at another location because getting up the hill was a long way. I thought they were offering to pick us up and take us up to the place. Nope, I met someone who spoke no English, and didn't understand that we didn't want to stay there... but had no choice because Granada was PACKED that weekend (Dia de la Hispanidad)... which is probably why the sloughed us off to another place that looked like it hadn't been used in a month... so they could make more money. Not impressed. |

Aleksander NowinskiQuite far, but very nice. Rooms clean and nice, but not everything works. It is at the main enterance to Alhambra, so it is quite far away from the city (20 miunutes walk). Anyway it was really cheap to get two with bathroom there, so for us it was perfect. There was quasi-breakfast which is not mentioned, but very nice in the morning. |

Stephen TerryLocation, location, location. Right opposite the Alhambra - 2 mins walk to entrance, on a hillside with lots of interest and character. The 15 minute walk down into town was a joy, through beautiful gardens, alongside the Alhambra with something of interest round every corner. However, the return up the hill was, oddly, a different story! If you have your car, ook around for parking. The obvious place is in the Alhambra car park opposite but that charges 16.25 Euros per day. Go to the top of the hill - the other side of the mini-roundabout, facing the cemetry, unofficially gives free parking. The 2 English reception staff were very friendly & extremely helpful (Spanish was surly non-entity however). The rooftop pool was attractive but was so cold couldn't face using it. The balconies facing the Alhambra were wonderful. It's basic but clean. It's far from posh but is functional & fun. Being where it is, at the price it has to be outstanding value for money. |

Customer reviewThe location is good and most of the staff is friendly. But the rooms are in a very poor condition as well as the building itself. If you want to sleep for low money and poor conditions, than this is the place to be. We wouldn't recommend it. |

Customer reviewWe really liked the swimming pool, but it's really a shame that there are no kitchen to cook in the hostel... |

Customer reviewI like a view from the tarrace on the roof. Good place to go to Alhambra, very close, that true. I know that the quastion is "what did you like" but I have to write what I didn't, 'cause it's a bit important to people who don't like small&pokey places.... the rooms, are claustrophobic! You come in the room and you are almost on your bed . And the bathroom have a shower about 50x50 cm. I think that not all rooms are like this, but no. 101 for sure. |

Claire ToepferSurprisingly awesome. Neat, plain rooms, but the location (about 15 min walk to centre) but right next to Alhambra, was perfect, and the roof top pool was an absolute star on a hot day. Little gold nugget of a find, if you don´t mind a slightly unkept, but nevertheless clean hotel. |

Customer reviewIt is very good if you want to visit Alhambra since it is very close to the main entrance but consider that you have to take a bus to go to the city centre and the last one is at 11p.m. We took a double room, it was very small and its bathroom as well but, very important, it was clean. The bad was o.k. but a bit short, so if you are more than 1.80m it might be a problem. The swimming pool on the roof was nice. Not everyone at the reception was speaking English. All in all I will recommend this place and I will go probably back there. |

Daniel FoxLoved this place, great location for exploring the Alhambra. Some people may prefer to stay closer to Granada central, but i loved the walk down the hill through the park to the centre. Would definitely stay there again! |

Customer reviewthe pool is great and has shade...the people who work there try to be helpful...it´s right next to the Alhambra entrance which is absolutely amazing for the price...beware...it´s not really nice...only the pool and patio and location...it´s the bare basics and even some of those things will go wrong...i had to change room bc of leaks in the ceiling during rain and my new room was in a stairwell and smelled like a sewer...however, i would stay there again bc of the price and the location is fabulous |

Customer reviewOn entering this building it appears a bit run down and grotty. Staff spoke good English and were friendly and helpful. It is not centrally located however it is two minutes' walk from the major tourist destination the Alhambra. The centre of Granada is about 30 minutes walk down a steep hill. If you have driven to this place you will need to consider parking. The nearest parking we could find was expensive (30 euros for two days) and was 10-15 minutes walk from the hostel. The place was nice and clean with TINY toilets and showers in the double room - if you are close to six foot tall your knees will touch the door when sitting on the toilet. The internet is available for free on one computer near reception and there is also free WIFI. Rooms are secure (with good locks and bars across the windows) however there are no lockers available for storing valuables. The best feature of this place is the medium sized pool on the roof top and the roof top terrace which is a nice place to hang out in the evenings. |

Gordon HaleyDouble bedded basic clean room with shower/toilet in perfect location opposite the Alhambra and I MEAN opposite. 24 euros for a double room in August. Not the Ritz but you certainly get more than you pay for. Staff so helpful. Great |
