Liked: This place was amazing definitely a highlight to our trip. Tucked away in the mountains gives you the chance to see the real spain, the views are phenomenal and you can sit on the roof of the hostal and also enjoy them, would definitely recommend this place if you wanted to get away from the hustle and bustle of a busy city!.

Disliked: The bus system! the bus did not drop us at the stop described for the directions to the hostel . Instead we were dropped on the main road which is really in the middle of nowhere and quite daunting. It is a long walk with big packs however the scenery is still magnficent. The hostal was rather cold at times but plenty of blankets are supplied.

Liked: Hostel Almora had a charming authentic atmosphere and lovely, friendly hosts. One of the nicest places I stayed in Spain, the best value for money too. There were nice wooden comfortable bunks (no squeaks) in the dorm room and there was a cozy looking double bedroom too.

Disliked: It was all good, the only thing I can think of was, the communal kitchen was in the process of being renovated, but Paul and Beatriz let us use their kitchen to cook our dinner anyway, so, no worries.

Liked: Deviate from the city and see the real Spain- you´ll be so happy you did. This place is located outside of Granada in the most amazing village at the foot of the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range. It is so unimaginably beautiful. Paul, the owner, took us hiking, to flamenco in a nearby town, and then out for the night to enjoy drinks, friends, and locals. The best part of my 7-week trip so far.

Disliked: Alexander left no negative feedback.

Liked: Beautiful traditional house in a tiny, charming town in the steep Sierra Nevada foothills. Great walks in the area, the owner is very helpful and accommodating, and you might even unexpectedly find yourself at a flamenco performance in a tiny bar full of locals singing and clapping along. Recommended.

Liked: Surely one of the best hostel I ever stayed so far. It's located in a quiet and extremely beautiful area. Very clean. Staff is super nice and helpful. Great place to meet the locals.

Disliked: Far from Granada (50 min). It'll be better if there are more buses.

Liked: Paul has created a completely unique and comfortable place to stay. The village of Niguelas, though outside of Granada, is picturesque at the foot of the Sierra Nevadas. I found myself wanting to spend my time there rather than in the city.

Disliked: The bus system was a bit sketchy.

Liked: This hostal is a hidden gem! Niguellas is a small town at the base of the Sierra Nevada. This hostal is funky, homely and has alot of character! It wasn't easy getting to/away from the village durring semana santa, but the location is pretty, and I did alot of walking despite my sprained ankles! I recommend this place for the interior deco too!

Disliked: Manish left no negative feedback.

AARON MAUS

02 April 2010 AARON would recommend this property

Liked: Great place to relax. Amazing building with lots of bohemian character. There's not much to do in town during the week, so be sure to bring some playing cards. I can't say about the weekend as we were not there for one. Also, we had the entire place to ourselves, which was pretty cool. It could use kitchen access since there are not many restaurants around in town!

Disliked: AARON left no negative feedback.
