The view, location, the staff and fellow travellers. The climb up gets you fit but top spot. We had a great time.

Rambutan is an experience in itself. You book for 3 nights, you'll end up staying for 3 weeks. Enough said.

the wonderfull view on Alhambra

The climb up the hill isn't actually that bad and the view is SO worth it. It's close enough to town to get there easily but far enough away to be quiet. It was like crashing at a friend's house for a few days, the atmosphere was so good. The free internet and wifi were excellent. I really, really enjoyed it.

The acceptance of all people, not only Australians.... good food, views.... and real towels!

Hostel in a very very good location with a fantastic view of the alhambra and the albaycin and well connected by the autobuses(32 minibus) with the centre of granada. friendly and helpful staff, good room(we were in the double) fun atmosphere. enthusiastic for the kitchen. good thing: every night the staff make something to drink or to eat.

The staff are brilliant, the place is beautiful and everyone is so relaxed and they cook dinner and breakfast and the view is spectacular. I will be back time and time again.
11 August 2008
The location, the price and the terrace just in front of our room. The thing I don't like is the fact that the staff doesn't speak any spanish in Spain.

Everyone immediately becomes your friend if you allow them to at this hostel. The walking up and downt he hill provides excercise.
10 August 2008

The management is perhaps a little disorganized, but the hostel has great character.

Just go there. Great view and even better people.

I'd recommend this hostel to people that don't expect too much from an accomodation. Is a kind of rustic "free" house not a building like hostel with electronic keys and many facilities. The hostel is located in an amazing place of Granada (sacromonte) but is not comfortable to reach it. Thus a good place for adventuring people...

It feels like a shared flat there rather than a hostel. Very friendly staff, very helpful and communicative. Quiet location that overlooks the Alhambra. Quite clean and of good price. I highly recommend it.

It's a great place. It is situated perfectly and the view is amazing from the terraza. Niles is a great guy and we would have stayed much longer if we had had more time to travel.
