Liked: Everything. The hostel is a not that far from the city centre, the only thing is that its a bit of an uphill slog to get there. The staff are amazing as is the eggy bread and fruit and cream breakfast! My room could have done with a new shower fixture but thats about it.

Liked: This is one of the coolest hostels I've ever stayed. The view is amazing, you don't need to go to an overlook, and the staff very laid back and become your friends automatically. This is not a place for narrow minded and picky travelers looking for cheap comfort, but it is a great place for friendly people who want to meet nice people and staff who will make you feel welcome like an old friend. Best place I stayed in Spain.

Liked: the diverse hippy crowd that works and also visits this hostel was amazing. we really liked the staff - super helpful and nice. BEAUTIFUL NIGHT View of the alahambra and also being in the albazycin area was very romantic. They also have optional dinner which was amazing! But if you have heavy luggage to bring don't come here as you have to do a lot of climbing of steps and roads. DEFINITELY Recommended if you want to see/feel the real side of granada

Liked: The people at the hostal (both staff and travellers) were super friendly. So, when we walked in, I felt instantly at ease, as we were offered to join the group for barbecue and drinks.I great place, with a lovely atmosphere and some of the best views you will find in Granada. Well worth a visit.

Liked: it's a beautiful and charming place and the wiev over Granada and Alhambra is amazing. The staff is really cool and fun and its a very nice and chilled atmosphere. Everything is always nice and clean, good food (lovely breakfast!), and very good for meeting new friends!

Liked: Great atmosphere, unreal view, terrific staff. Beware though, if you want to get some sleep this may not be the place for you as staff and backpackers partied til the wee hours...

Liked: Great hostel - would have stayed for longer had it not have been for work the following day... A return visit will no doubt be made! Friendly staff, amazing views (don't let the hill put you off) and cute fluffy animals made a rainy weekend thoroughly enjoyable. More of a home than a hostel - would highly recommend The Rambutan to one and all.

Liked: Its quite a climb up but it truly is a great get away from the city with a view to kill for. Its located at Sacromente so you can climb 15-20 minutes via Cinos trail to get to Alhambra. The Flamenco dancers are just 5 minutes walk away at night. If you are more of a city goer, you can still take bus 31, 32, 5 minutes climb down from the hostel. By the end of the stay you'll feel much healthier and muscular with all the exercise. Excellent ambience, homely and relaxed feel, you're not pressured to sign out strictly at a certain time, staff (Neil- manager) - helpful and warm. Great party place and guests get to show their talents i.e. singing, spanish guitars, and binging.

Liked: Really interesting atmosphere! :) People there were really friendly and many guests end up staying for a really long time. We didn't know who ran the hostel because some long-staying guests started running the hostel (cleaning, collecting money, etc.). It was a really unique place.It had a really great view of the Alhambra as well! Except the hostel is pretty far from the town center.

Liked: My stay at Rambutan was great! The price was right, the location was beautiful up on the moutain overlooking the city and the Al-Hambra. The atmosphere was perfect...chilling and comfortable, and ou bedroom was very peaceful - I slept like a log every night! Most of all, though, the staff was super friendly and great to hang out with. Chilling with these guys felt like being with old friends, although we had only just met. Thanks for everything guys!

Liked: This hostel is really chill, the people I met were friendly and great, the staff recommended good tapas places and were interesting to talk to; they drew us maps and gave really detailed directions. The bathrooms were clean and the location, while up a big hill, was great with an amazing view of Alhambra and a relaxing atmosphere.
