Liked: Yes! Makuto was the best hostel experience anyone can ask for! They have amazing staff that will help with anything you need, advice for places to eat and places to go in and around Granada, and they are quite funny too. The location is perfect for everything that you would want to see, great atmosphere, awesome common areas and good facilities. Loved it.

Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: It's got nice pockets of places for relaxation.

Disliked: The bunk beds are not double but triple decked. So if you get the one in the middle, you need to be extremely flexible and an expert contortionist to manouver your way into bed.

Liked: I loved the vibe at this hostel, it was more like a family than a hostel, its small and cosy. In the summer i could imagine the treehouse and garden area would be popular but as it was raining while i was there i spent most time in the common room which was homely and relaxing. The common meals the hostel staff cooked were delicious and it made the evening even more social.

Disliked: The bedrooms. I decided to leave this hostel and find another hostel as the sleeping conditions i had on both nights were well below average. I would go as far to say on the second night my room was below poor. Its the room beside the bathroom with swinging doors which dont close and leave you absolutly no privacy. I wouldnt mind so much if that room was offered at a seriously reduced rate but it was the same price and not worth the money, i could have had more security and privacy and sleep in a bus shelter.

Liked: Let you expirience grenada the best way! such a special and worm staff have been there to help me answer to all my questions. Generally i supposed to stay in grenada only one night but eventually i stayed for 3 nights! Mainly becouse of the great vibe And athmosphire in the hostel, grenada wouldnt be the same without makuto hostel! Rhanl you for this great expirience! The location is fine: next to the market 5 min walk from the center and right next the bus station.

Disliked: Its not a place for people who prefer hotels or singel rooms becouse this hostel is all about be together in the chillout area or sitting around the table meeting new people. So if you need your private time in your own room this is not the place...

Liked: The female staff members were great especially the italian lady she was really helpful and approachable. Location is ok but up a big hill. Breakfast is free-bread,jam and coffee/juice. They did let us leave our gear at the hostel while we waited for our night bus and also use the lockers.

Disliked: This was easily the worst hostel we stayed in, in Spain not sure if thats because the others set the bar so high, however the rest of the staff were rude and not approachable at times I wasnt sure who actually worked there. They were off in their own world. We did not want to hang out in this hostel at all and wished we had booked somewhere else!

Liked: Lovely location -- in Albaicin, which is the best neighborhood in Granada. The staff were extremely friendly, especially Ruy and Tina. The atmosphere was really cool, and there were live music and parties at night. The hostel also offers an excellent free walking tour (we even visited a cave, which is famous in Granada.) Definitely a great choice if you enjoy meetings travelers from all over the world.

Disliked: The bathroom is a bit far but it didn't really bother me. Everything's great.

Liked: I loved this hostel! Easily one of the best I have stayed in, and I have stayed in more than 20 around Europe. The vibe is relaxed, friendly, if you want to go out you can, if you want to relax you can, if you want to explore Granada, they can help. Most awesome layout also, hammocks, treehouse, little bar, dinner offered each night, like a family dinner... perfect, definitely recommend it!!

Disliked: nothing! except make sure you write down the directions to get there properly, easy to get lost, but then, getting lost in granada is half the fun...

Liked: Makuto is the very best!!!! We have stayed in many hostels in our six weeks across Europe and this hostel beats them all. Friendliest, sweetest staff, creative chill place, and the greastest energy. Great location in the heart of the Albayzin and wonderful character (it really is relaxed -- there are hammocks!). Good chances to meet alot of travelers, with a great walking tour and a patio area. You wont want to leave Granada once you stay here!

Liked: Granada is amazing and Makuto is the best hostel I have stayed at in Europe so far. The staff are all super helpful and friendly. They organize a free walking tour every night and cook amazing dinners for everyone. There is a bar where you can always get a drink, chill beats, hammocks, a tree house, a cave, as well as a great kitchen and free breakfast. We stayed for an extra night because it is so good just haning out there and meeting new people. Go there!

Liked: Everyone was so friendy and helpful, it is a wonderful space both for when you want to party and when you want to relax, great location, flexible breakfast hours, wifi, everything was great! Incredible walking tours as well! I would highly recommend it to anyone going to Granada.

Disliked: Only downside is that there is only one room with bathrooms and showers, so when that room is being cleaned, there is nothing you can do but wait! Other than that, there was no locked luggage room (though of course you have a locker in the locker room), so you have to leave your suitcases on the floor of your room, which is fine but which can make getting to your bed a bit challenging.

Liked: just a great place to stay, it was easy to meet people, fun to hang out in the treehouse or hammocks and the staff were super helpful . It has such a good atmosphere i stayed an extra 2 nights and wanted to stay more - so i will definately be coming back here !

Disliked: there wasnt enough electrical plugs and i had to do some fancy acrobatics to get into my bed at night but really it was a small price to pay for all the friends i made and the good time i had .
