Hammocks! Excellent vibe and great staff, stuff to do every night. You might not get much sleep at night, bit noisy in most of the rooms, but you more than make up for it napping during the day around the hostel. One of the best I've stayed at!!

Beautiful place, nicely designed. not sure about the merits of stacking bunks 3 high - middle bunk is a toughie. good kitchen open all day. only 30 or so stay there, so nice and quiet.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The only down fall of the place was the heat and the bunks. Were normally you have a two tier bunk, they had three. Not good if you get a bit claustrophobic. And it was 45 degs the days i was there, no fans, no kind of cooling at all. But otherwise an excellent hostel.

The atmoshpere and the staff is really great, it is well located in a beautiful neighbourhood and 10 minutes from the center, 2 blocks from the sightseeing place of excellence and sort. I had such a good time at Makuto :) I'd love to go back sometime.

The hostel itself is really nice, the crew and the people you meet there are awesome. The walkking tour is totally worth it and you are really close to one of Granadas most beautiful "miradores" where you can see the Alhambra's amazing walls, towers and palaces. THis hostel was totally worth it. Thank you Makuto.

I loved everything! The staff were amazing, so welcoming and were very active in bringing everyone together with paella nights, tapas nights and bbq! The garden is by far the best feature of the hostel, and the location is great as it is just a short stroll to the best night look out point over granada and alhambra.

This was my best hostel experience ever. I could seriously stay here for a month just relaxing and enjoying the good vibe. Fun laid-back people, nice chill-out space and cheap drinks. It's a bit hard to find the place but once you get there it's paradise.

highly recommended! It is located in Albayzin area, which i think everyone comes to granada should stay in this area - white colour houses with small winding streets full of Arabic style shops. Staff are fantastic - thanks Nick and Ainhoa for giving us some much help on info, and bringing us to try tapas and flamengo. fantastic people, keep it on!
