Liked: Clean and comfortable beds, clean bathrooms (although limited shower facilities when staying in the dorms), numerous daily activities, knowledgable and friendly staff, free WiFi, a large kitchen and bar area (free, basic brekky!), and a friendly backpacking atmosphere! I will come back next time I'm in Granada.

Disliked: I encountered some minor travel problems due to a country-wide general strike, and the Oasis staff were very helpful in assisting me with changing my bus ticket to get back to Madrid a day earlier than planned. However, they were not so helpful when it came to me wanting to alter my booking and cancel my last night due to the circumstances...

Liked: The architecture of the building, its location

Disliked: Bad access to the hostel , espacially if you carry a lot of things, because of the small paths made of stone

Liked: Friendly and clean environment.

Disliked: The stairs leading up to the hostel. I travelled with a heavy suitcase but it's fine for backpackers.

Liked: It`s very good location to climb the Albazy and Alhambra placeand near the hostel have a lot of tapas bar and restaurant

Disliked: a lot of cat`s or dog`s poo in the road .. be careful

Liked: Good location, nice atmosphera, programs for us (city tour, night tapas tour, dinner together), can meet a lot of nice people. The terrace is excellente on the roof!

Liked: The location of the hostel is very good, in the middle of the Albaicin area.

Disliked: I didn't like this place. I was travelling alone and the staff was not friendly at all. Good for groups and if you are in the "party mood".

Liked: Great tours everyday, good kitchen the bar was great to meet people. Michael took me out to some Reggae nights which were cool, and the terrace was great to hang out on.

Liked: Organised good tours. We did the hike to the waterfall which was amazing. Also the tapas tour was fun. The rooms were clean and ours had a fridge and freezer in it as well as a private ensuite. Large lockers that fit your entire bags

Disliked: Internet didn't work most of the time and it took 3 hours before they had our beds ready. We arrived at 1pm. Only one fan in our room which didn't really cool down the top bunks

Liked: Location (although in the back streets, close to all the good stuff), mattresses good, facilities like internet and breakfast is really good. Very clean, daily change of hand towels etc. Good atmosphere with lots of travellers having fun and good discussions.

Disliked: Although the tours are free you will be asked to tip also the hostel staff promote that they can arrange Alhambra tickets but they will ask for a 2 euro tip - this isnt advertised anywhere and seemed dodgy. The rooms were often very hot as inadequate cooling in summer. Some of the rooms are better than others as far as being able to get a good nights sleep. Only 3 computers for internet and one was out of order for about 24 hours.

Liked: great kitchen area with good self catering facilities, nice courtyard and definitely a good place to meet other travelers. THe location could not be better: directly off the calle calderia nueva, you fall into all the famous teterias once you step out of the door.

Disliked: The rooms are a bit tiny and crowded with the bunk beds, facilities in the rooms are absolute minimun, but cleanliness is okay and the lounge area is nice to sit around,. If you are lokking for a place, where you can rest and sleep well, this might not be your choice, too noisy in the night.

Liked: Amazing location, and its reputation carries across Granada. Incredibly helpful staff, and just a fantastic set-up overall. Granada would have been a blast regardless, but this hostel just made it that much more. Many thanks folks!

Liked: Absolutely loved it! Great location, very helpful staff, great rooms and common area. I also loved all the free walking tours and things to do oganised daily by the hostel which is great to meet people if your travelling by yourself. Highly recommend!

Disliked: Hostel is on the hill..I was so tired.. And my linen and pillow were dirty..like someone already used them.. And I felt uncomfortable for mixed dorm..

Liked: The locaton is ideal. Bar and Kitchen are very good. Good social vibe.

Disliked: No air con makes travel and siesta tough, a bit too expensive for a 6 person dorm.

Liked: We did not like this property, we LOVED it! Everything from the rooftop terrace to the lounge area downstairs were beautifully maintained and very inviting. The rooms were so modern and resembled a clean, comfortable hotel room. The beds were the most comfortable of any hostel/hotel we stayed in during our trip. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The free walking tours offered are extraordinary. Well worth your time. Every day offered different activities from tapas tours to homecooked paella nights and waterfall walking tours.
