Liked: Roof terrace, cheap drinks at the bar, FREE internet...everything you want in a hostel! They even book the Alhambra tix for you (for a very well worth it €2 fee) so you don't have to hike to the top of the f'n mountain to check for availability. FANTASTIC location, right in the heart of everything. Great tours done by even better guides! Definately do the tours as soon as you get there if you're a solo traveller...you'll meet folks in the same boat and you can do Granada/Alhambra together :) BUT book you're bed in advance, it sells out quick,especially on weekends...this place IS that good.

Disliked: nothing, it was a pretty sweet place.

Liked: Good atmosphere. awesome facilities. enjoyed the bar and rooftop area. nice rooms. food services were good. helpful staff with a range of activities. very close to back streets of arabic area in granada..go for a walk

Liked: The style of building (patio Andalúz) and the prices at the bar!! Breakfast was great also and self service!

Disliked: I would have liked lockers for each person in the room.

Liked: It was a good hostel with plenty of activities organised. And Pancakes for breakfast. I highly recommend doing the hot springs night they offer.

Disliked: price went from 14 euro to 19 euro the next day and it wasnt even a weekend

Liked: Everything... it's well located, the rooms are big and clean, and the people is very friendly... They have lots of services, such as free internet connection, walking tours, bar, kitchen with breakfast, It's pretty awesome and the price is just great...

Disliked: Nothing!

Liked: breakfast is nice. On my first day, there are pancakes prepared but on the second day they only provided the mixed 'flour'.

Disliked: well, not all the staff is helpful, Yes, he tries to be funny and friendly, but he actually has no heart to serve you. He would give you impatience and even mocking look if you do not understand his direction.

Liked: The staff were extremely friendly, the hostel was in a great location and the facilities in the hostel were really good.

Liked: Everything is of a generally high standard compared to other hostels and clearly they have a good business plan. The varying walking tours are beyond reproach and the breakfast is, unlike some, generous and qualitive.

Disliked: The key thing about any hostel is the staff. On the whole they are fine at Oasis. Compared to the very best hostels, However,a minority of, them have salient shortcomings. unsmiling, indifferent-tactless tones , sometimes imposing there own poor taste in overloud music on the punters. A minor quible, as I say, about a minority of them. On the whole they try their best, cos the boss (us punters!) says they should....

Liked: The hostel is located near Neuva, the morrocan and arab stores area, very characteristics. But the uphill steps are annoying when u carried heavy luggage. Staff told u the information u asked for but not in detail, for example, when the staff told me how to get to La Alhambra which is very near the hostel but she didn't tell me that's the back entrance and the ticket office is all the way up. I was looking for it for half an hour.

Disliked: As said earlier, the uphill steps are painful for me particularly i carried very very heavy suitable.

Liked: I met a lot of really great people and they offer a lot of interesting tours that I wouldn't have known about otherwise (ie nature tour, hotsprings). Overall all I had a good stay. Plus there was pancake mix for breakfast.

Disliked: The wifi was bad and I stopped trying to connect with my laptop and just used the computers they had.

Liked: Provided customers with convenience and flexibility.

Disliked: The route leading to the property had given customers with inconvenience, in specific, customers found painful in pulling their luggage through the up-running stone path.

Liked: The location is very good. The room and bathroom are clean. I booked a 6 beds Ensuite, but ended up in a 3 beds Ensuite. There is actually 2 rooms in this ensuite. So I have a single room and share the bathroom with the other 2 people.

Disliked: I have to catch a train early in the morning. I asked the staff in the hostel and she told me that there is no bus and I have to take a taxi. I was told that there is always taxi at a Plaza near the hostel. But when I arrived there early in the morning, there is no taxi. Thank God, I got a taxi at a big street near there and got to the train station in time.

Liked: Beautiful location, and everyone there, guests and staff, were some of the friendliest people I have met so far. Truly an Oasis. If you stay, be sure to check out the Street Art and Caves tour. Eye opening and beautiful.
