Liked: price is good. and location is so near alhambra palace and albaisin

Disliked: breakfast was bad. just homemade bread(taste was so so), magarin and 2 kind of jam and milk,coffee. time was so late. 9-11 o'clock.anywhere no conditioner. Gradana is so hot

Liked: Great staff, very friendly. Great location. If you like sitting around, talking, meeting people and hanging on the rooftop smoking pot, it´s for you.

Disliked: No aircon or fans in the rooms - if you´re going to Granada, it´s stifling hot. We were in the top room and it was unlivable from 12-6. Plus there was a constant smell of pot seeping throughout the hostel.

Liked: The people were really nice and welcoming. We had a bit of problem one night with a guy in our room and they immediately helped us move to different beds.

Disliked: A little bit loud in the mornings since sounds from the kitchen bounce up to the open windows of the rooms.

Liked: The staff were so welcoming and made me feel really at home during my stay there. We had great conversations into the night with other guests, and I was really sad to leave because everyone was so great.

Liked: Laid back bohemian vibe. Experienced enhanced by light presence of incense and relaxing roof terrace overlooking a small plaza. Francois, Alex, Natalia and Rebecca are delightful hosts. Get on Alex and Rebecca's good side, they might hook you up with a fine vegan dish. I loved the homemade chili despite carnivorous tendencies. Francois has a taste for adventure. If you look flying he will make a good companion. And Natalia is a sweetheart with abundant energy and a taste for a fun. Let her take you through the streets by night if you want to pass a good time. Maktub is an A+ in the hostal realm. Check it out or you are striking out. Enjoy

Liked: The property had a lot of character, a cute double room and a nice terrace for relaxing. Shame there's no ensuite, and also the furniture seemed a bit rickety, notably the bed... All-in-all a decent night's stay.
