This is more like a 2 or 3 star hotel and is very clean. Location is excellent being very close to bus stop.

Had a room for three for 15 euros each and it was more like a hotel than hostel. YV - air conditioning - private bath - closet - clothes cabinets. Also a great location. Don´t know what the dorm living is like but it probably is really good to. No clothes washers are the only negative I have. I would come back in a flash

Very clean, large private room for a low price compared to other european cities. offers towels, shampoo and soap in the bathrooms, you have to pay for internet which is kinda expensive, but otherwise a great place.

It's perfect if you need time to relax and have your own room like in a hotel. For the price of an 8-bed-dorm in other hostels you get your private room with your own bathroom, very good value for money. The location is great, you can walk anywhere and there is a close bus stop to get off when you arrive from the bus station. The staff wasn't very friendly but whatever, the hostel is definately worth it staying at!

The hostal was VERY close to EVERYTHING that most people want to see and do while in Granada. The Alhambra was only 15 walking minutes away, as were the Barrio de Sacromonte and the Albaycin. The Catedral and Realejo were a mere 5 minutes away. I didn´t have to take a bus anywhere (except from the main station where I arrived) and the streets around the hostal are amazing to explore. The staff were really very helpful and all of them were nice and pleasant to deal with. They were eager to give advice and were very knowledgeable. The room, and bathroom, were very clean and had plenty of space, including a large closet, extra blankets and they supplied towels, sheets, soap and shampoo. It was like staying in a regular hotel, not like a typical hostal. I highly recommend Hostal Atenas to everyone! If I go back to Granada one day I will stay there again!

I snagged a great deal (private ensuite for 24€ a night can´t ask for much better. The location was excellent - 10 minutes walk from the train station and Plaza Nueva (the heart of the old town) and across the street from one of the mini bus stops that will take you straight to the Alhambra

I liked the location, it is placed in the heart of Granada, 15 min to Alhambra.

It was cheap. hostel prices for a hotel quality. Though the walls are paper thin and it seems something of circus activity takes place at 3am. So if you are looking for a good night sleep then is probably isnt the best place for you
