Disliked: there was a leakage in my room at 12am!! Water was running from the ceiling

Liked: An inexpensive, private room with a private bathroom...at youth hostel prices. The room was very small, but sufficient, and it had a balcony and I could see the Alhambra from it. I was there in October, and the temperature was very comfortable.

Disliked: It wasn't very soundproof. Fortunately I was really tired and the people in the other rooms weren't very noisy, so it wasn't an issue.

Liked: It is as it is described in comments i have read before i travelled, this property looks more like hotel and I can only recommend. Great value for money. Atenas is close to old town as well as walking distance from Alhambra. Enjoy!

Liked: It's cheap and close to the town.This is not the place to meet people,because it's not a hostel for backpackers,but it's convenient.

Liked: The hostel was located on a main street, which made it easier to find public transportation to the sights and any where else in the city. The hostel it self was set up more like a hotel, which was great because it was clean. It is definitely a great place for the money spent.

Disliked: The staff at the reception could have been a bit more helpful, but they did answer all of our questions.

Liked: Very close to city center and Alhambra (just a few bus stops to Alhambra), clean rooms, air conditon, TV, great value for money.

Disliked: On hotel's web page they said "free parking" - however, it was not free, costs 15 Euro per day. Wi-Fi available per hour.

Liked: It was more of a hotel than a hostel. Love the value for the price. A nice option for people looking for a private room.

Disliked: It does not have a social hostel vibe, as it is like a hotel. The staff wasn't very friendly.

Liked: Great location. Good value for money. Clean. (NB: They would only offer the hostelbookers quoted prices if booked online so this 2nd day was more expensive than it would have been if we'd booked 2 days in one go rather than waited to see how it was and book again).

Disliked: As no air conditioning had to leave windows open so it was a bit noisy. Internet was poor considering you had to pay for it. Had to wait for room to be cleaned even though we arrived well after 2pm.

Liked: Had our own room with shower and it was pretty cheap. Not a hostel but a hotel so if thats what you are looking for its quite nice.

Disliked: Had to pay to store luggage. Awful shower design so its hard to take a shower without flooding the floor with water.

Liked: It was actually more what Americans consider a Hotel than a Hostel. We LOVED it here. It was very, very clean and the room was large for European standards. We requested a balcony upon arrival and were given an amazing street view for Semana Santa festivals for no extra charge. The front desk staff were very professional. The bathroom was very modern. The building is easy to locate and 1 block from the famous tapas street and a 5 minute walk to Plaza Nueva.

Disliked: Nothing!

Liked: This was basically like a hotel, with private rooms, but it had hostel-like rates, so no complaints there. The room had a balcony and it's in the main part of town.

Disliked: While there was nothing bad about this place really, it was an okay stay.

Liked: The location is perfect, just near the city centre, you can take a bus to Alhambra and Albaicin city very easily.

Disliked: The reception wasn't very helpful, they held us for some while (maybe to get the room cleaned). The check in was supposed to be at 12 o'clock, but they only let us in after about an hour or so.

Liked: Great value for money, lovely rooms very clean, helpful staff, fresh towels and your room cleaned every day. Perfect location for visiting the old and newer parts of the city as well as the Alhambra; bus stop outside the door including links to bus station, Albaicin, the Alhambra to name a few. Vending machine (with beer in too, to my surprise and delight). All round great stay - would definitely recommend to other travellers!!
