Can Tallada was built at the end of the 19th century, as the family home of the Tallada’s, who had made their fortune in Cuba. It is now a beautiful property in an excellent location available for rent.

The South American influences can be seen in the typical architecture of the house, which is referred to as ‘estilo neocolonial’. In particular, the galleries and the roof construction reflect this style well.

Up until the 1970’s the estate had been in use as a family home, but later came into disrepair. After major renovation, maintaining the style and features of both the main building and its out-houses, we are now able to offer this lovely property for rent.

Apart from the luxury, peace and charm of the property itself, Can Tallada is also the perfect base for exploring the surrounding areas. Nearby you will find numerous mediaeval Catalan villages such as Monells, Peratallada and Ullastret, the beautiful towns and cities of Girona and Barcelona, la Bisbal, various museums, Roman churches, and the wonderful beaches and resorts of the Costa Brava, including Estartit, Begur and Palamos.

There are bike routes, one can walk or hike, horseback riding and there is lots of golf in the area. In the inlands are beautiful nature reservations and of course the Pyrenees.
