Liked: Las Gaviotas was a fantastic place to stay. It is located right on the beach in the middle of Corralejo and was only a small walk from downtown where the supermarket, mall, nightlife, bars, and restaurants are. If you didn't want to walk you could take a cheap cab. It was about a 20 minute walk to a swimming beach but it was well worth it. The staff were the most enjoyable part of our trip. They made us feel right at home and helped us out with any questions we had. The rooms were clean, spacious, and we had a beautiful ocean view! There was a bar and restaurant on property as well as a relaxing swimming pool. With the cheap price, we got so much more than we paid for and would love to stay at Las Gaviotas again! I 100% recommend it to anyone vacationing in Fuerteventura.

Disliked: The only thing we disliked was that sometimes the breaker would short out and our lights/ fridge didn't work. We kept having to push the button in every few minutes. It was only an issue at nighttime though when it was dark.

Liked: The staff was very friendly and outgoing and even invited us out with them to a party at the owner's house! They were always willing to give us information on getting taxis, finding grocery stores, and neat places to check out during our stay. Also, the property itself is very quaint and quiet, which was nice. Although the property was described as being a "quiet" place on the website, we found that there really was no trouble if we happened to get a little loud.

Disliked: Really only one thing: There were ants in our beds! We had two rooms (apartments) and out of 8 beds, 3 had ants in them. I think that the rooms need to be fumigated.

Liked: It was in a great location. Easy to walk to town but nice and quiet for relaxing. Big enough apartment for 4 adults. It's what you pay for, cheap and cheerful.

Disliked: The pool was not in use, they are building some sort of stage in the middle of it so it will be no use as a pool once that is finished. No one told us that the pool would not be in use during our stay.......
