Travel to Malaga Airport. Malaga city and the coastal resorts are just 35-40km away.

From the airport, take the new A357 to Pizarra/Alora (this should take about 35 minutes) and whether by car or train, the journey passing through lemon lime and orange groves is delightful. Otherwise you can get to Malaga city train station and get a train or bus to Alora.
