Liked: Our booking was changed to another place but it was close so it was no problem. The place where we ended up belonged to the same company and was a one-star hotel so actually it was nice. Clean and good location.

Disliked: Nothing really

Liked: The location was very good, two minutes from the Mezquita. It was very clean, cleaned every morning and the staff was very helpful and friendly.

Disliked: The rooms were freezings, one blanket was not enough to be warm and even with 5 people in a room and two blankets I was still cold! No lift but fine if not with lots of luggage.

Liked: Séneca hostel was closed and I slept in AÑIL hostel. Friendly staff, good location, I meet with nice people / travelers.

Liked: There is a beautiful garden patio and the price was good (but average for the south of spain). The location is fantastic, it's right beside the cathedral and in the old quarter of the city.

Disliked: There were no maps at the hostel (alhtough they were available at the tourist office), the wifi was only downstairs, it was very cold at night and despite the fact that it was pretty clean there was a run down feeling about everything. Also, the reception was sometimes there and sometimes not in case you had any questions. Mind you, these are not major points, but just in comparison with the really good places, this one was not on par.

Liked: la collocazione in pieno centro storico e il patio

Disliked: abbiamo trascorso la prima notte in seneca hotel, un solo bagno per tutti gli ospiti, situato al pianoterra, rispetto alla camera che si trovava al primo piano. la camera, il bagno e la cucina non adeguati come attrezzature e pulizia, piuttosto scarsa. i servizi descritti nel sito (internet, e carte di credito), disponbili solo all'anil ostel e non corrette (pagamento delle lenzuola). la disponobilità del personale è stata buona quando abbiamo chiesto il trasferimento all'ostello di via barroso dove la situazione è senz'altro migliorata.

Liked: warm water in the shower and clean sheets (though holes in the sheets)

Disliked: Really small rooms -no space to even have your stuff. No trash can in the room. No keys to the room-you always have to ask the staff to open the room door. There is a locker but it is outside the room and it is very flimsy. No real common area so atmosphere is not like in a real hostel. Also I was here Friday night and it was a bit loud so if you are a light sleeper, you might have a problem.

Liked: I really like the patio and the terrace, we could stay until 12am before go to a disco, the room was nice! The location...is really close from the Cathedral!

Disliked: When I arrived there was a bad smell in the air, but just that, if you ask me i recommend senses & colours AÑil instead!

Liked: We really enjoyed the friendliness of the staff. Paz was an exceptional young lady that showed an amazing capacity to be customer friendly. The location was perfect for seeing all the tourist interest points.

Disliked: Difficult to locate by car.

Liked: Great location and the bathroom was clean.

Disliked: So, I've stayed in a lot of hostels, some of them dirtier than others. But this one actually made me wonder if it was hygienic. I think all the rooms are different, but the room I had had four twin beds crammed into one room. The mattresses were dirty (we're talking period stains all over) and the sheets and blankets hadn't been washed. I was the only one staying in the room, so I checked the other beds' linens to pick the cleanest one, since mine had like shoe prints and visible dirt all over it. The cleanest one had PUBIC HAIR on it. That's pretty gross and it made me hate my one-night stay at the hostel. Also the wifi didn't work and they didn't have computer for patrons to use.

Liked: Really neat space, good location, and great common area.

Disliked: Locks on the doors were a bit tricky. The wireless didn´t reach my room and not too many communal outlets.

Disliked: The room is quite old and shabby. Only one bathroom/shower each floor is not enough. Noise and smell from the street at midnight and early morning.

Liked: The location was excellent; within the heart of the old city, easy walk to all attractions.

Disliked: The entire property could do with some TLC. Our toilet would not flush, and our companion's door was very difficult to lock. Also several loose tiles on the floors.

Liked: Hostel Seneca is always clean, feels very safe and has wi-fi !!!

Disliked: Many of the rooms on each floor have to share one bathroom. It's difficult to find a time when it is not occupied, but when you do you have the bathroom all to yourself, so it's not that terrible.

Liked: Looks nice, room was a decent size and cool(ish)

Disliked: No where safe to leave your passtport and the Wifi doesnt work with our phones. Noisy and slightly odd lay out, it would seem more sensible to have dorms next to the shared space and shared rooms up top for the couples, but in short it was noisy in the bottom bedrooms round the shared area til 3-4am.

Liked: I was very impressed by the nice patio with plants and flowers. It is a nice place to chill at moments you don't feel too energetic. You can use the roofterrase with a view at Mezquita.

Disliked: It was a bit noisy at the groundfloor.
