Liked: Bright, clean, friendly professional staff. Nice courtyard, and a busy hostel yet quiet. Feels like a hotel more than a hostel, so great value for money. Fantastic restaurant just opposite.

Disliked: Rooms were given after 2pm.

Liked: Beautiful hotel Clean rooms Great breakfast for only 5euros. Excellent location. Loved Cordoba Used garage for motorbike and not charged.

Disliked: Nothing Would return tomorrow!!

Liked: Best signage I've ever seen! There are big signs all over the street it comes off of for the Hostal--though be sure to go to the HostAl Maestre and not the HotEl Maestre. Very pretty building and courtyard, and comfortable rooms. Breakfast is a good deal.

Disliked: Not the most social place, but it's also not a youth hostel, so it's a different kind of atmosphere. Staff knew very little English, but we were able to communicate through my very basic Spanish and hand gestures.

Liked: They offered us the hotel part for the hostel price. Hotel Maestre was in a perfect location, easy to find by bus.The staff was very helpfull.Hotel room was very clean.We really liked this hotel.Deffinitely reccomend.

Liked: Good location, easy to get to by bus Clean

Disliked: Staff - not available to check in/check out or ask questions, rude Security - there was a push button door to exit the hostal, this was often open so anyone could enter from street, reception area in a separate part of the building so no staff to monitor, although there were never any staff around anyway! Reception signing - signs stated the same location as reception for hostal and hotel, however, hotel staff would not assist hostal customers, and would send me back to ask hostal staff (who weren't there), when stating there were no hostal staff available, they would not accept my statements that there were no staff. When complaining about lack of staff, I was made to feel like it was my fault for being there at the wrong times, and that was why I had not seen any staff (checking in/out at standard hours....) Towels in bathroom were ripped.

Liked: it's very easy to reach from the airport by bus. close to the mezquita and historical area. staff are friendly and helpful. hot shower available 24 hrs. the rooms are being cleaned everyday as if it's a hotel room.

Disliked: the street is dark and very quiet at night. the room seem to be not occupied for a long time so it smell dusty. as well as the extra blanket provided. rooms are not provided with heater so it wasn't nice at winter since the nights are very chilly. extra blanket was actually provided in a cupboard but it also smell dusty so i can't use it anyway. but the room get better after being cleaned the morning after.

Liked: Our room was clean with enough sun light. The building was nicely decorated. We could left our luggage as long as we wanted with no charge eventhough we had already checked out in the morning. The reception people had a good command of English.

Disliked: The first person we met at the reception was an unfriendly woman who apparently dislike her job at the desk. She made us feel uncomfortable.

Liked: Good value for money. Excellent location, 5mins walk to main tourist attractions. Sufficient breakfast, buffet.I paid 8Euro for parking in the underground.

Disliked: Unfortunately I did not sleep whole night long, as the air conditioning in the room was very loud and did not work properly. It was incredible hot in Cordoba that time.

Liked: There's easy access from the bus stop, the location is within walking distance to all tourist attractions, the room is extremely good value for money; nice, clean and spacious room with air-condition (it was 41degrees when we went there). We also got internet connection in the room.

Disliked: Access to kitchen or pantry probably? It would be nice if I could make myself a hot drink whenever I wanted.

Liked: Very well located, place to park a car and great, big double room with kitchen and bathroom. Looked more like a hotel then a hostel. Great value for money! Highly recommented!

Liked: Not given any info about anything. No services, more of a motel rather than hostel. Nice place if you dont talk to the staff and dont expect any services.p.s. Booked a private double, given a twin and when asked to change, told 'no they are the same thing'. thanks for nothing. argument that got no where.

Liked: it was really close to all the main sites. We stayed in the Hostal which was very nice, quiet but friendly, great value for money and would stay there again if we return to Cordoba.
