Liked: The most of all I like the attitude of people who work in Casa Caracol:),they are working with passion and creative ideas what makes chill and friendly atmosphere in the Casa Caracol :D, family hostel ;) Interior is really cozy and with a mixture of relaxing and energy atmosphere makes perfect place for travelers :D

Liked: Hostel is in a nice location. I ate dinner there for 5 Euros and it was very good. The staff is very friendly and accomodating. Overall a good stay.

Disliked: The rooms and bathroom are adequate neither amazing nor terrible.

Liked: I liked the atmosphere although I couldn't enjoy it too much as I ended up with a stomach bug so didn't get to socialise as much as I would have liked to, but the staff were always friendly and up for a laugh...:)

Liked: It's a great building where the middle's kind of open-air. Some other guests made a delicious paella for everyone in return for tips. Great location, towels to rent (but there were none available on either of the days we went to the beach...). The most delicious muesli I've ever had for breakfast.

Disliked: Most of the showers consisted of a shower head and a hole in the floor, and the kitchen was pretty basic - the gas hob was pretty temperamental and there was no microwave, plus it was pretty competitive and crowded. There are very few seats so sometimes we had to hover about with our food before we could sit down. Although it's always full of people it's very cliquey and noone made us feel very welcome - however if you're a single girl you'll probably be made to feel right at home in no time. The rooms are quite noisy and there are no curtains so it's quite light in the morning, and the lockers are all home-made and not very secure. Also there was a mess-up with our booking as they were only expecting one of us, but it was sorted out with no problem.

Liked: It was a great place to meet people by hanging out on the rooftop or lounging in the kitchen/common area. The staff was super friendly and knew how to make me smile. Overall the atmosphere was great, the muesli breakfast was a nice change, it was easy to find from the bus/train station, and there were some tasty and inexpensive tapas nearby. Awesome place to stay in Cadiz!

Disliked: Sometimes it felt as though there weren't enough bathrooms and the beds were pretty creaky. It's about a 20 minute walk from the beach which isn't bad because it's nice to walk through the old town, but in the heat this felt a little far at times.

Liked: Fun relaxed vibe and the staff were very friendly (although the guy on our last day there seemed odd). The place is full of charm and there's always people to meet. Loved the roof terrace and hammocks, although the shower up there was always cold. Cádiz is a fascinating city and the Casa Caracol is in the perfect location the discover the city and reach the beaches, and very near the train and bus stations for getting in and out. Muchas gracias chicos!

Disliked: Whilst most of the staff were lovely people (Adrian, Ini and the English guy), the guy working on our last day did seem a little sleazy and appeared quite drunk

Liked: The place has a great atmosphere- great place to meet people. The loccation is relly convenient & i love the rooftop terrace with hammocks. The breakfast is great & they´ve an internet computer too.

Liked: The dinner party was great, lot of sangria and great paella. Awesome older house with lot of character and the great location. Free walking tour is a big plus.

Disliked: Even though it is nice to have lot of open space but after sometime the voices should be kept down.

Liked: Staff there is very nice and helpful, the place is not very big, and they have interesting activities like night pub crawling and free guided tours across the city, that you shouldn't miss!!

Liked: Everything, especially the atmosphere. Really amazing, lovely and friendly people staying and working there. Nice laid back atmosphere. The rooftop patio was fantastic with hammocks and lots of plants and the kitchen was well equipped with a cheap and delicious dinner/ fiesta provided low cost each night I stayed there. By far one of the best hostels I've ever stayed at:)

Disliked: bad breakfeast, little bit loud on the night! the 1th floor bathroom have a worst shower!

Liked: Nice and friendly staff.

Disliked: Not enough bathrooms (the one on the first floor is hard to flush and if someone is taking their shower you canºt use the toilet, get changed or brush your teeth, basically if it is being used for anything you have to wait). The kitchen is too small for the amount of people staying there. Difficult to sleep in or go to bed early, because people and music were really loud (including staff). The doors to the dorm we had did not close. The beds were not very comfortable and the pillows were stuffed with feathers (might as well have not had one at all).

Liked: It had a great vibe, very laid back and the owner was exceptionally friendly! as well as the rest of the staff ;)

Disliked: Nothing! our beds were comfortable by hostel standards, and the hammocks on the terrace were a great place to take a nap! everything was clean and the kitchen was very large and useful

Liked: a friendly atmosphere, a lot of erasmus students and travelers

Disliked: for a few days it was no problem, that there was party until late at night. but if you want to sleep early in the evening you should look for another place.
