botxo Galery (Hostel Bilbao) is much more than a hostel, is also an art gallery, we will consider an extension to the Guggenheim museum where exhibitions of the most significant symbols of our little town of Bilbao, called by the Bilbaino (Botxo .)
A brief history of Bilbao:
Bilbao is a village surrounded by mountains and bisected by the river Nervión, whence the name of Botxo with which he is familiarly called. Its origin dates back to 1300, when founded by Don Diego Lopez de Haro, Lord of Biscay.
It was then a small village of fishermen and laborers, due to its location experienced, over time, rapid growth forced her to perform a series of extensions, to extend the city. The proximity of the mountains results in an irregular urban.
Today the city of Bilbao (Bilbo also in Euskera) is a village in northern Iraq, capital of the province of Vizcaya province, in the autonomous community of Basque Country.
