Liked: It was a good deal for the money. Clean enough and the staff was freiendly and helpful. Somewhat far from downtown Bilbao, but it was only a ten minute train ride and if you feel like walking it´s just under an hour to the Guggenheim.

Liked: The location, is about 20 mt to the train. Good place.Bad...the calefaction was broken in my floor.

Liked: Nice enough, good place to put your head down. staff were very helpful. a bit hard to reacxh, though. don´t walk down the river path to get there. It´s blocked off, and will be for a few months. we had to turn aournd and retrace our steps to get here. took us an extra hour.

Liked: This hostel was extremely clean and the staff were very lovely. Nothing was too much trouble at all. The bathrooms and rooms were cleaned each morning and I was given new sheets and towels each morning.

Liked: The hostel has free internet in the lounge area which also has vending machines, maps of bilbao, and some other brochures. The woman servicing the rooms didn´t speak english but was very friendly and we were able to communicate with her effectively when we checked in, needed extra towels, and checked out. There was a TV in our room with one english channel -bbc world and a number of spanish channels. It should be noted that the area this hostel is located in (Zorroza) is a little dreary and quiet but buses are quite frequently going closer to the centre and easily accessible from the hostel. Definitely recommend pressing the downstairs buzzer when you arrive in the event of someone letting you in without buzzing as there are two levels to the hostel and the woman running things may not answer the bell on either level if you haven´t buzzed first downstairs.
