Liked: it was clean, nice rooms for a short-term stay. close to the city centre

Disliked: the neighborhood was quite strange... i didn't feel very secure coming back to the hostel in the late evening. it's situated on the entrance to the red lights district of bilbao or at least that is what it seemed to me.

Liked: I like the fact that there was a computer area. Loved the free WiFi. Washing machines were downstairs.

Disliked: But only 2 desktops not a strong signal unless you are a few feet away. Meaning you cant be in your room and use laptop... and not great on using the a/c unit in the room.

Liked: Very nice and clean hostel. A little bit expensive, but quite close to the old part of the town.

Liked: Excellent value for money full service accommodation in Bilbao. New, clean rooms, great kitchen and plenty of hot water for the shower. Historic city center within 5-10 minute walk.

Disliked: Just on the edge of a bad part of town, but always felt safe there.

Liked: Clean room; quiet. Had a great night´s sleep.

Disliked: When I checked in, the staff wouldn´t agree to give me change, and in fact sent me out into the red light district to break a fifty, which I wasn´t thrilled about.

Liked: Located in a very poor neighorhood, we heard police sirens during the whole night in front of our windows. Not a safe place, when standing outside the hotel smoking bums and junkies come asking for money the whole time.

Liked: The hostel is very clean and tidy. I enjoyed the stay here as everything is included in the room, include kitchen. It like a hotel rather than a hostel, with room service as well. However, the atmosphere of the surrounding street seems uneasy and uncomfortable.Anyway, the good location deserved a stay.

Liked: Really great value for the money. Location is at the end of "San Fransisco" street. Locals say it's a bad area, but I didn't have any problems. Sparkling clean and new facilities.

Liked: It was reasonable in price and close to the old city. You can catch a bus across the street from the train station and get there very easy. An okay place to stay. Breakfast included and was okay.

Liked: I had my own room, en suite with a kitchen. But it is not a place to meet people and party. But it suited me because I needed to do some washing and chill out before I carried on with my travels. However, it felt a bit scary when leaving the hostel at night, and there were reports that a girl had had her pc stolen from her car, and there seemed to be prostitutes working on the street.

Liked: Relatively close location to old town, but in an area that doesnt look too friendly. Good clean facilities and cheap laundry. Free internet is a bonus. Good clean rooms with hygenic facilities.
