Liked: The hostal was everything we required,cheap clean and had very friendly staff who helped with all our requests.It was perfectly situated (being in the nicer older part of the city) for cafes bars and public transport.The area itself was busy but not noisy and felt like a 'safe' area to be in,all in all couldn't fault the place and would definatly go back!

Liked: The staff were friendly and the rooms were very clean. It was a realaxing stay. My sweetie loved the steak restaraunt just around the corner.

Liked: Central location, friendly staff, clean rooms! As negative the 3 floors of stairs to climb with luggage (no elevator), and a little bit noise from the street, still a good value for the money!

Liked: I liked the hostel a lot - just remeber that theres no lift and its on the third floor so be careful with your luggage!!!

Liked: Extremely fun, friendly and helpful staff. Clean, comfortable rooms with a nice en-suit bathroom. Right in the heart of the Old Town, surrounded by lovely historical streets and pintxo bars. I'd stay there again.

Liked: Really great location in the old town, within walking distance of everything you need- guggenheim musuem, tourist info centre, tram and train station, and plenty of places to eat and drink. Friendly helpful staff, and 24 hour access. Rooms nice and clean.

Liked: Nice hostel, right in the old part of town, nice balcony with overviewing the street. No cars around the hostel which is a big plus.

Liked: Hostel Gurea is more of a hotel than a hostel and the staff is very friendly and helpful with information. The location is perfect for exploring the city and going for pinxos and copas de vino in local bars.

Liked: very central, right in old town. reception staff there 24/7 n very helpful. Bilboa very busy but no probs usin the transport system would defo go back and would stay in the same hostel!

Liked: Such a great hostal! The nicest and friendliest staff ever, always ready to help and ready for a little chat! The hostal is quite simple but has everything you need and has an amazing character (wooden floors etc) and very clean! Also it is in the middle of the city centre and near to really good tapas bars (but quiet still during the night)! Definitely would recommend this hostal!!!

Liked: Very nice, small place. What I liked most was that you get your own set of keys to the building, which gives you the feeling of staying at a friends house.
