Liked: It was more like a hotel than a hotel which I really liked. Very good location and I had a nice nights stay there.

Liked: The location - Casco Viejo was a great base to see the city from. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable.

Disliked: The only thing worth pointing out are that it is on the third floor, so if you have problems getting up stairs then this isn't for you.

Liked: the staff is very kind. most of them speaks english.the rooms are very nice and clean. the location is right in the old city close to everything and to all the bars and Restaurants

Disliked: for disabled and old people it is not recomended because there is no lift in the building and it located in the 3'd floor.

Liked: Liked the reception person a lot and she was very tolerant of our beginning Spanish skills. She suggested places to eat. The room we had was a double and it was small but cute. It was clean including the in suite bathroom. Nice wood floor and WIFI. If the weather is mild and 3 flights of stairs are okay with you then it is a good value in an expensive city.

Liked: It's not a hostel, it's a pension, but a very good one - well situated in the heart of the Old Town, in walking distance to the Railway station. My room was spacy and clean, nice without bad taste stuff. There is a room with a telly (but there's also one in your room) to relax and to check your e-mails on the computer.

Liked: Right in the city center and between pintxos and tapas bars. One of the coolest hostels in planet earth, deffenitely! The personnel is very helpful and trusty. The first things to notice are groovy wide stairs:) And especially is mentioned to worth room nr 17 - nice balcony!

Liked: We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived - the room was clean, and very nice. The staff were friendly and we were provided with a map and a range of leaflets about the city to help plan our stay. The hostel is in easy walking distance from the Guggenheim and most other sites of interest in the city. We really enjoyed our stay.

Liked: Friendly staff, the room; bed, shower and bathtub ok. But noisy, simple windows and they are headed towards a noisy (really noisy) street (at least in the weekend).

Liked: Great place to stay, right in the centre of the Casco Viejo, friendly staff and easy to look around Bilbao from here. No internet or kitchen but otherwise, highly recommended!

Liked: The staff were all very friendly and helpful (24-hour reception), and keen to advise about places to see in Bilbao. Good clean hostal with brilliant location - right in the centre of Casco Viejo! great for paseo, pintxos, shopping and amenities nearby (2 nearby metros to choose from - an ideal way of getting around - cheap) - will stay there again next time I visit Bilbao ... hopefully not so much 'lluvia' then, maybe!! Muchas gracias to all the staff at Hostal Gurea.
