Disliked: having to pay for top sheets and towels when cost is already high for a hostel. breakfast very average:: I would also mention it is very much a youth hostel and there are few older travellers;

Liked: The staff was so helpful and had answers to any question we had. They were honest and even tried to save us money on nightlife events!

Disliked: The only complaint I had the whole stay was that the man sleeping in the bunk above me smelled and snored. Other than that I enjoyed my stay.

Liked: Excellent choice! The hostel is clean, the location is amazing and the best thing in the rooms is that each bed has your own light, what is very helpful when you enter in the bedroom and there is someone sleeping...

Liked: Central.

Disliked: Sleep at any time of day was impossible (and I was there in low season). There was no more than a solid 1 hr sleep in the 24 hr period possible due to people in and out around the clock. The best time to sleep is 11am-6pm as long as not too many people check out. And even though it is "non smoking," if you get put in the room with the balcony, the whole hostel uses it to smoke with the door open which stinks and in winter is also very cold (still very cold in March).

Liked: A good location for a hostel, and very secure.

Disliked: Michael O'Leary would be impressed by this hostel's Ryanair-esque approach for exacting money from its customers. The charges for bedding and locks were cheeky. Also the 2 euro price for bottled water was naked profiteering given it costs about 20 cents from a supermarket. Basically I'd add 10% to the price you're quoted for staying here. The breakfast was dreadful too - couldn't help but think that if they were a bit more flexible and less tight by extending the time til 11am (not 10am) then that would avoid the mad scram from 9.30. They also served up the cheapest form of cereals which seemed to be engineered to dissolve on contact with (warm) UHT milk. I know you're not at the ritz, but I have known other hostels provide real bread, real fruit, normal cereals, and free tea and instant coffee (tea and coffee are not free here....).

Liked: I loved the location and the people there. It was a great central location to experience Barcelona from.

Liked: The location was perfect, the room was spacious and the ensuite bathroom was nice.

Disliked: I would have liked a blanket to be included in the price. The shower shut off every 7 seconds, and though that might be more environmentally friendly, no one takes a shower in 7 seconds.

Liked: LOCATION was great! very central. EASY to commute to from airport great STAFF very CLEAN and very SAFE.

Liked: Equity Point Centric is right across the street from the Metro, so getting around is extremely easy.

Disliked: You have to pay for a top sheet and blanket. Only a bottom sheet and pillow case come with the reservation. Not a big deal but keep it in mind.

Liked: Very clean, especially the kitchen where you're able to cook your own food. Bathrooms were also very well-kept. Great location within walking distance to La Rambla, La Pedrera, and even La Sagrada Familia. The common room/bar was very lively at night with groups of people. One of the best hostels I've seen; I'd definitely recommend it.

Liked: I know this sounds cray, but one of my most favorite things about this hostel was that the beds didn't squeak. I hate being in a bunk-bed, and every time someone moves it sounds like you are walking an elephant into a building of 300 year-old wood

Disliked: In the morning there was a LOT of noise, every five seconds it seemed like someone was slamming a door, and I had not even been drinking the night before
