Liked: Great Location, right next to the metro and within walking distance of las ramblas and the beaches. Clean rooms, Good breakfast including free espresso, it has a bar (with very limited options but still)

Disliked: The fact that they charge you for a top sheet and for towels.

Liked: Only positive point about it was location.

Disliked: Unfriendly staff and atmosphere, full with bureaucratic rules. I've stayed at a 4 bed bedroom and its quite claustrophobic, specially the bathroom.

Liked: nothing great besides the fact it was next to one of Gaudi apartments.

Disliked: I hated the fact that you are paying 30 euro a night and can't even drink hard liquor in the hostel, which mean you have to spend more money outside in bars before going out. too much money.

Disliked: a bit of a party hostel so if you were after a quiet nights sleep maybe go somewhere else.

Liked: Great location

Disliked: Very unclean. I don't think under or behind the beds had ever been cleaned, the was spit on the walls.. Our shower was tiny and dirty. Only one power point in the room. And the "free wifi" was only available on level 2 with your own device. Staff were rude despite speaking very good English amongst themselves. Expected more for the money we paid.

Liked: Great location! The breakfast was good (free espresso bar!), free wifi (with good connectivity in certain areas), and the facilities were very clean!

Disliked: I thought the hostel was quite pricey (23 euros/night in a 14 bed room) and I thought it was ridiculous that we had to pay to rent sheets (2 euros) and use internet on their computers (wifi is free). When I checked in, the staff who helped me was extremely unfriendly, impatient, and didn't even tell me all the necessary information! However, since that first experience, every staff I encountered was very friendly and knowledgeable.

Liked: Sunny afternoons on the roof terrace with a drink in hand are amazing, great view of the city.

Disliked: Trying to find a seat a breakfeast.

Liked: It has a very good location, all sights are in the walking distance or reachable by metro. I also enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. The building itsself is beatiful, staff kind and the hostel has really nice facilities like the terase with a view.

Disliked: It does not have enough showers-only 2 per floor. The same goes for toilets.

Liked: It was very central in Barcelona to the shops, very clean.

Disliked: How far away from the beach it was, having to pay for sheets!

Liked: it's a beautiful building, breakfast was good and plentiful, despite how many people were having a good time in the hall and bar, the bedroom was quiet (or maybe i was just that tired that i didn't notice!)

Disliked: it's maaaasive. so not much space for intimate chats and getting to know people well. but barcelona is'nt that kind of city!

Liked: The location, and the fact that it's a pick-up point of free walking tours.

Disliked: -In rooms with ensuite bathrooms, the bathroom is very small. -No blankets provided. Rooms can be very cold at night. -In my first check-in at 2.00 pm, the room had not been cleaned. -Some stains found on the "clean" bed sheets.

Liked: i was pickpocketed on the street just before i left barcelona, and the staff at the hostel--thanks again, sarah :) --let me use the international phone to stop the credit card, which was a big help for me.

Disliked: i used 8ppl's room, and some of the ppl would come back to room around 3-4 a.m. and make noise that woke me up. I know some ppl come to barcelona for night life, and some for daytime sightseeing, so maybe the hostel can try to put ppl of the same purpose in the same room?

Disliked: Breakfast was poor, would be nice if there would be bread, and not only bisquets. then I would espect blankets.

Liked: The staff was very helpful. The place was very secure. The terrace was very beautiful and helps you to relax.

Disliked: The breakfast was not that good. Just bread and butter and some cereals.

Liked: Brilliant location and fair priced beer. A party hostel if you wanted it, otherwise you could sit round and have a quiet couple of pints. Staff tried best to accommodate me when they couldn´t find any record of my booking.

Disliked: Bit big and impersonal.

Liked: A very good place to meet fellow travelers but a bit harder for lone travelers. The showers were also annoying but at least you can wash. Overall I would recommend this to young travelers or anyone down for a party. Great location right next to main train stations and major city squares.

Disliked: A little hard to meet others. Perhaps more events around to get people involved and meeting each other. The showers were also very annoying
