Liked: Excellent bathroom facilities, fantastic breakfast, good position, helpful staff, quiet for sleeping yet a party opportunity in the bar, the best and cheapest Sangria, felt very safe here.

Liked: Excellent location for everything! Hadn't been to Barcelona before so wasn't exactly sure of best place to stay. Travelled on my own so the capacity of 400 people plus, made it easy to meet people - especially with its own bar. This did not make it a noisy place when needing to sleep though. I wasn't sure about staying in a hostel, as normally stay in hotels but was not didapointed at all. Its very clean as newly refurbished - the bathrooms are on a par with what you would expect from a nice basic hotel (i was in a shared dorm with ensuit) Girls on reception were lovely on arrival and the guys were very helpful in giving the best night spots. Security good as there are lockers in your rooms and after a certain time in the evening you can not get in without your security pass, which although sometimes a little irritating, a reasuring necessity. There are many theives around Barcelona and a few people i know had things stolen. Keep stuff with you at ALL times when in clubs and on beach. If you take photos that you'd hate to lose - get them transferred to CD at a photo shop, my friends lost their camera and two had them pinched. NOT at the hostel I have to say. This was the only bad thing about my stay. Many people travelling who had been to many destinations already, fell in love with Barcelona and said it was the best, or one of the best, places they had been to. This Hostel is the best place to see it all from. I loved Barcelona and if or rather when i go again - I will not hesitate to book Centric Point.

Liked: This hostel has a great location right in the center of Barcelona. The people working the hostel were extremely helpful and friendly as well. It wasn't the best invironment to meet people, kind of stuffy place, which means it's a secure place. But I prefer the hostels with no curfew and a warm invironment to meet people. This hostel was like staying in a hotel, so if that's what you're looking for stay here.
