Disliked: If you want a good night's sleep, do not stay here. There are automatic locks on the doors that EXTREMELY loud and unless you are completely drunk, it is impossible to sleep. Also, as a result of these locks, every door slams shut. There wasn't a 5 minute span all night that I was not awoken by the sounds of locks and doors slamming. Also, the room was clean, but had a really horrible smell. It smelled like poop and bathroom cleaner. I and my girlfriend got a twin private room and payed 180 euros for two nights. For that, price the room was really awful. My suggestion is to to either spend a bit more and find a hotel, OR look a little outside the city and take a taxi. The taxis are cheap and it's much better than staying at this hostel.

Liked: Fantastic common area, met a lot of travelers! Also they had art and bands playing so you didn't have to leave the hostel to have fun.

Disliked: Do not stay on level 2!!!! That's where the common room is, where bands play etc. Noise till late but then at 6:30am they get ready for breakfast and clear away all the empty beer kegs held in the hall. The noise went on for half an hour and woke up everyone. Didn't sleep well at all.

Liked: lots of people to meet. very clean and nice building.

Disliked: Dorms are big and Barcelona is a busy night spot so don't expect a good nights sleep unless you can get a smaller room with less people.

Liked: there´s a great atmosphere where you can easily meet people from all over the world. It´s also very nice because you have pleaned parties every night so you can have a lot of fun.

Liked: The hostel was so central, which was awesome.

Disliked: Although everything was clean and in good condition, there were bed bugs. I was left covered in bites upon leaving.

Liked: It is really in the center you can go anywhere easly

Disliked: There are lockers in the rooms but they dont have any locks. It is a little funny. Internet must be free.

Liked: Great location two buildings away from a Guadi! We stayed on the 7th floor (two lifts) with an amazing view from a balcony. The staff was very friendly and helpful and they were very strict on security which made us feel very safe (two girls travelling.) Lots of diverse people to meet and hang out with and constant coming and going.

Disliked: If you don't like a lot of people and want a quieter place, don't stay here. If you like to mingle and go out - this is the place!

Liked: Cleaned daily by actual cleaners not just travellers cleaning for their bed.

Disliked: Charged 1€ extra for paying with a credit card - as do most hostels unfortunately.

Liked: the location and the breakfast are very good!!! staff is pretty helpfull!

Disliked: the rooms are really crowded and there are few bathrooms and toilettes, somebody took my bed and the last day somebody took my towell!!!
