Liked: - Price/Quality - Clean - Great Location

Disliked: - Very unfriendly guy behind the desk. He made a mistake with the reservation, he said it was our fault, although HE made the mistake, so we had to move to another room.

Liked: looking around the dining room I realised I was probably about 30 years older than any of the hostellers present. at all times I was treated with friendliness and received good service and felt absolutely safe there on my own in Barcelona.

Disliked: a minor point was that the window of my room opened onto a brick light well and was sometimes a bit smelly. however the room itself was clean and comfortable.

Liked: This hostel was great. The breakfast was good and there were always people around. It was really clean and the staff were all really friendly - especially the girl at the bar. Great place to meet people too.

Disliked: No bread at breakfast - but apart from that, it was great!

Liked: highly recommended. It's just one of the best if you want a good place to sleep within the hotspot area. Great atmosphere and people. Meeting room is always busy and fun.

Disliked: The checkout time is 10:00 in the morning. That's very early is you've had lat late night in the city. We check'd out around 11:30 and they didin't mind, but I would recommend the hostel to set the checkout time at 11:30. It just gives people a bit more time to get up relaxed after a late night.

Liked: It locate in one of the best location in Barcelona, It is really very comfortable to walk from Plaza Catalunya.

Disliked: Modern style, Professional but it is too many items extra charge for basic appliance they should provide some of sheet/pillow sheet and the blanket

Liked: the hostel was in a good location, there were many young people, the staff was friendly and helpful, clubbing and other events were organized through the hostel

Disliked: i did not like that there was only one toilette and one shower on each floor that had to be shared by everyone. it was annoying to wait for so long. i found that it was also dirty.

Liked: Everyone was really nice and helped me out. Great set up and breakfast.

Disliked: My lock doesnt fit in the locker and the ensuite bathroom was dirty. It is a little hard to get onto the top bunk it your in a shared room, but not bad. The shower was a mess. The drain wasn't draining properly and if you didn't hit the button every 30 seconds the water would turn off. I don't recommend dealing with it if you are in a hurry.

Liked: Location was awesome! Clean, friendly, safe and good breakfast! The free walking tours are also great! Would definitely recommend and stay here again!

Disliked: Not much to dislike really! It's a shame that you have to pay a little extra for blankets, towels and padlocks... but if you go prepared it's no problem :)

Liked: Big but not overwhelmingly big, a great place to meet interesting people. Friendly staff, clean & convenient property. Good extras: breakfast, free city tours, bar, etc.

Disliked: Charges for blankets, towels, etc. The surrounding neighborhood is upscale, which makes it a little hard to find cheap food and drinks in the area.

Liked: First, I liked it a lot and had a great stay. They have moved towards a new concept in hostels with en-suite bathrooms and good heating. the staff are great and the location is ideal. It is almost the perfect hostel. I even met some people I liked and will keep in contact with.

Disliked: The only limitation is that the kitchen is too small. There are only six electric spots for cooking. A group of French people managed to cook an excellent meal for themselves and used all the spots. The French are good at food. Maybe they should have their own special kitchen so the other people could cook as well! Or maybe they could cook for the rest of us!

Liked: The location was fantastic, very central. Hostel was also very clean. We stayed in a double room with private ensuite which was cleaned every day. We also had a big balcony that looked out over Passeig de Gracia which was a beautiful view.

Disliked: The staff were not friendly at all! When we asked them a question, it seemed like a big effort for them to help unless. Also, we had booked a double room with ensuite but when we first arrived we were given an awful room that did not have any windows. We asked to be moved to a room with a window and were then given room 606 on the sixth floor with a huge window and balcony. If you are staying in a double room with ensuite, we recommend you ask for rooms 605, 606 or 607, which share a huge balcony looking over Passeig de Gracia.
