Liked: The staff were very friendly and helpful and the common areas were comfortable and a great way to meet other travellers.

Disliked: The location isn't very good as it is far away from the touristy area but the train station is a 5 to 10 min walk and from there you can get the metro into town so its fine.

Liked: Free breakfast in the mornings is a great way to start the day. Wireless in the rooms and lobby. Friendly staff. Laundry services (though 3 euros for both washer and dryer, I was desperate enough to use them! Also they provided a free standing hanger to air dry for free)

Disliked: You must use the metro to get pretty much anywhere. It is fairly close and convenient, but because I was there during the week it stopped running at midnight, leaving no choice but to head home early or pay for a cab. (Some fellow travelers walked, but I was by myself, and this didn't seem safe)

Liked: This is an absolutely wonderful hostel: it is clean, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful, and it has a very comfortable atmosphere! The bathrooms are spotless, the showers are clean with great water pressure. All of the staff is so helpful and knowledgeable about Barcelona. I would recommend this hostel 100 percent.

Disliked: It could be closer to the city center but, the staff helps you out with public transportation which is readily accessible.

Liked: Free wifi, there is someone there 24/7

Disliked: Young age group but I guess that is to be expected! I am too old!

Liked: The place was clean, well cared for and they offered lots of information about things to do in Barcelona. It was nice that they offer personal lockers in the dorm. There was a good vibe of young people there.

Disliked: The location is mediocre. The neighbor is residential and doesn't seem to offer much for the traveler. It is simply too far from the heart of Barcelona's site to make it a desirable place to stay when compared with options that a closer to Las Ramblas and other attractions and don't cost much more.

Liked: The staff were friendly and courteous. Breakfast was good and the wifi was excellent and reliable. There's a nice common area with tv and very comfortable sofas. everything was clean and shiny!

Disliked: Location was a little far away from the main tourist attractions and interesting areas e.g. Gracia or Las Ramblas but not a big deal given that Barcelonas metro system is wonderful.

Liked: Very very kind and helpful staff. Good location if you are arriving at or leaving from Barcelona Sants station. Near camp nou :) breakfast was free flow and quite good. Kitchens and rooms were big and clean, even in he 14 bed mixed dorm. Free Internet (2 terminals) but usually have to wait. Met so many nice and friendly travellers here. Very safe though lockers are too small for backpacks. Bathrooms were spacious and clean with hairdryers even! The best hostel i have stayed at so far - will definitely recommend to my friends.

Disliked: Not many eating places around the area. Lockers were too small for my backpack.

Liked: Alberguinn Youth Hostel was amazing. Our corner room was spacious and had a lot of natural light. Breakfast was really good. I especially liked the chocolate cereal and the nutella for the toast. The staff was really friendly and helpful. A lot of tour and restaurant recommendations were available that made our trip even more fulfilling. Also, we met a lot of friendly people staying in our room with us. It was a great envrionment to live in and have as a base to explore Barcelona.

Liked: It was safe and the location is very central with many metro stations around. The staff were also very helpful and it was good that there were computers available for use.

Liked: The staff is very helpful and speaks good english :) They provide useful informations about Barcelona and it helps me a lot. No need to wash dishes, they use dishwashing machine.

Disliked: There is no lift, need to climb up 1 floor. The location is slightly far from the centre.

Liked: Very service-minded staff, made me breakfast even though i had to leave before breakfast hours. Everything was super nice and clean.

Disliked: It was a bit noisy from traffic outside even though it's on a small street.

Liked: Staff was very helpful especially Cedric! Included wifi, lockers, kitchen and a simple breakfast. A short walk from the metro. There are a few little supermarkets down the street.

Disliked: Fans in the 14 bed dorm would have been nice for some air flow.

Liked: it is located near two metro stations (and near the main station of the city); it is clean and secured; breakfast included in the price; nice staff

Disliked: Maybe a little bit too far from the city centre, so we have to take the metro to go downtown. The streets surrounding youth hostel are particularly noisy (especially early on mornings)

Liked: The location is perfect, very neat to Santz station. And people were kind and friendly, the kitchen was kept clean, bathroom was clean enough, good-working hair dryer, and comfortable bed. I'm totally satisfied.

Disliked: I felt a little unsafe around here midnight, but if you come back earlier it does not matter.

Liked: It's great if you need to be near Sants station! The staff were friendly and the facilities were good. Nice lounge with TV and a kitchen.

Disliked: Keycard access to every door was kind of annoying.
