Liked: Very friendly, staff amazing particularly on arrival greeting.

Disliked: Dont feel the maps we were given were 100% accurate (some attractions in slightly different places and with slightly misleading descriptions). We felt some of the advice we were given on what to do was given dispite the staff member not having an understanding of what we had booked entailed. Neither point very important in itself but have adjusted facilities accordingly.

Liked: One of the best hostels i have stayed at so far. This Hostel makes you feel at home because of its laid back atmosphere . All the staff were very helpful and friendly with reccomendations on places to eat and explore as well as bringing us around to local bars and clubs to party at night. Dinner each night was fantastic; hostel employees would make us dishes from thier home countries and would be more than happy to show us how to make it ourselves. Overall had a great experience and will stay here again next time I visit Barcelona.

Disliked: Was a little difficult to find at first because of its location relative to the main street. Other than that, no complaints.

Liked: The best part about this hostel is honestly the staff. Angel remembers everyone's names and they really are helpful with tips, where to go and anything that you need for your stay there. Plus free dinners!

Disliked: It bordered the shady side of town. As long as you don't walk in 3-5 blocks east and go after dark, you'll be fine.

Liked: They are super friendly (angel and john-sorry cant spell your real name- made my stay awesome, paulina came in on her night off to take guests to a beach party), and they cook you dinner every night. And it wasnt just some crappy rice with heated up frozen veggies it was really good food, couldnt have eaten better at probably any of the gimmicky places on la rambla (and its vegetarian friendly). I have stayed in tons of hostels and never bothered leaving a review but i am now because this is the best hostel i have stayed in. Definitely stay here if you can!!

Liked: Really sociable hostel...we came back just 3 days later. They make you food, feel incredibly welcome, the staff were second to none. If you like a chat, drinks, food, a jacuzzi and a great Courtyard with cool staff who treat you like their friend for 20 euros then this is the place.I have travelled a lot and this was one of the best!

Disliked: The only thing I could say is that they could have better PCs for the internet

Liked: Joao is an absolute legend. Makes some awesome caipirinha's!! Valerio is pretty cool too...haha. These guys make the hostel legendary. You get offered food, they are so helpful and play some cool music to boot. Definitely coming back!

Liked: Angel, Juan, Valerio, and all the other staff made it their mission to always go the extra 7 miles to make sure that my stay in Barcelona was fun, exciting, gorgeous, etc. When my friends and I came in, Juan immediately offered us coffee (which was pretty decent!), made sure we were comfortable, and then circled about 12 places we should visit in Barcelona, explaining how to get to them and why they're awesome. And they're all awesome. Then he said we could come and ask for more recommendations whenever we wanted. The facilities are all new, the taps and showers work beautifully, and there was a maid who came and cleaned every day! The hostel is off the main road about 3 blocks on a beautiful side street, so it's easy to get to and has none of the city noise. The free dinners are a great place to hang out and meet other travelers. It's very easy to make friends if you bring a few beers to share, and everyone just loves life while they're there.

Disliked: I had to leave!

Liked: The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. They truly care about all of their customer's and go above and beyond to assist them in any way possible. It was a very homey atmosphere where the staff would periodically cook dinner for every person staying in the hostel.

Liked: I came in here pretty late, and once I got in I was quickly checked in offered awesome home made dinner that had just been made for free. They mapped out all the sights to see and a great route in which to hit them all with the least amount of confusion. I had just spent the last 10 hours traveling by train it was a great welcome to see the clean beds, friendly atmosphere and then i joined the free bar crawl and met awesome people and some how got home after a pretty wild night. Hopped into bed and woke up to the breakfast that they keep out until 11:30ish. Which is awesome! I didn't have to worry about missing it! :) :) I left my bags here without any worry as I went out to Seville and now back, they're friendly enough to let me stay a little bit while i charge and check my email. Great guys here. Book it! It's the only place I'll stay in Barcelona *hopefully they have the free room!*

Liked: Nice patio, hottub, great free dinner and staff (valerio, rafaello, angel) and good - although small dorms - facilities. We also liked the free walking tour and location, highly recommended!

Liked: The best hostel that I've been to - and I will go to it again! I was travelling alone, this is why it was great for me to have dinner all together and meet other people. We partied every night and the personal at the hostel recommended us great bars and clubs. I really felt like if I was staying at a friends' house

Liked: This is by far the best hostel I've stayed at! The atmosphere is perfect. There is a free dinner every night, which allows you to meet the other guests. There were pub crawls both nights I was there with Paulina, who is amazing (I don't know what you're paying her, but give her a raise!) and brought us to really nice places. The rooms were great, the bathrooms were nice and clean, and the staff is the best. They're so friendly and make you feel at home. I wish I could have stayed for longer.

Liked: The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Valerio prepared two dinners in a row for all of us and served the food he prepared!

Disliked: The location is fine in the sense that all major sites can be easilly accessed. The only little problem is that you need to walk 400-500 meters to the nearest metro station, which may pose a problem if you have a lot of luggage.

Liked: EVERYTHING! Angel´s accent obviously. Valerio is also very cute ; ). The free dinner is a really fun way to meet people and they even show you how to cook. The (free) pub crawl is also a perk. The rooms are clean and nice. The location is also great.

Liked: Everything was awesome, the staff was great.

Disliked: The only thing was this girl that took people out at night bar hopping and clubing, she would leave the people their drunk and not show them the way back to the hostel. Some people had to pay a taxi and spend money because they where lost. If your going to take people who just arrived to a new city they dont know you should warned them befor they go out that you will be abandoned by the bar tour member. Could be very dangerous

Liked: Free dinner is a fantastic way to meet people and then go out after. Lots of fun. Very friendly atmosphere. Very easy to meet people and meet friends. The staff answered all my questions. It was very easy to find out everything I needed. It was as good as staying with a good friend.
