Liked: Good location in the south part of L'Eixample, making it easy to walk to both the new and old parts of town. 10 min walk to Placa Catalunya (where the AeroBus station is), 5 min to Passeig de Gracia. Subway stations nearby. Very clean property and nice washrooms. Free internet on the computers provided. Nice little balcony, but it closes at around 10:30 pm. Large kitchen and very helpful staff.

Disliked: No breakfast. Other hostels in the area that charge the same (or less) provide at least some breakfast, so this was kind of disappointing. Although I did not plan on drinking hard alcohol, some people may wish to do so. This hostel does not allow hard alcohol consumption. It only allows wine or beer.

Liked: I loved how clean and hospitable the hostel felt, though it still had eclectic nuances appropriate for the hostel atmosphere. The staff were VERY helpful, concise in their orientation and check in process, and gave a clearly detailed map with the best things to do in the city. I will always recommend BCG to fellow travelers.

Disliked: Malissa left no negative feedback.

Liked: Helpfull and friendly staff. Rooms are clean.location is good.you can go to lots of places by walking. this is a real youth hostel.bed linens smell very nice:) there is usefull kitchen.staff informs you about traveling in barcelona.i felt myself in my home.also wifi access is possible in rooms and there are computers.they are free:)

Disliked: Location is noisy because of the street.but it is not a big problem.because i visited somewhere during the day and i was tired.i didnt feel it so much.

Liked: Good, nice and helpful staff. Nice location. They also offer information of many interesting activities.

Disliked: Quite noisy on the street during the night. But get used to it very soon.

Liked: Very good staff, helpful but not intruding. Organized dinners so people couled get to know each other, took us to flamenco show. Nice atmosphere in the hostel, after few days I felt like I was at home. Definitely not a party hostel.

Disliked: One fridge not enough for all guests' food. Noise in the rooms by the street.

Liked: The showers and bathrooms are impeccably clean! The rooms are spacious and quiet. I loved the location near the airport buses, Metro, Renfe, sites, restaurants, La Rambla (but not too close), Plaça Catalunya, and more! Having a key to the building was also a nice touch. Laundry (wash & dry & fold) was avery reasonably priced and quick. In fact, I liked the hostel so much I stayed there 2 weeks later when I returned to Barça.

Disliked: I stayed on the second floor and did not like having to go down to the first floor for a fair number of kitchen supplies and to hang out in the evenings. It would have been better to be allowed to stay upstairs and be quiet in our own common area.

Liked: Great homely atmosphere. Very friendly and helpful staff. The place is really clean. Beds are comfy, We were taken out to watch a flamenco show, which was a lot of fun and a great chance to meet others at the hostel.

Disliked: The only thing I can think of is that it would've been nice if there were more showers and toilets. Although I never had to wait that long.

Liked: Everything! The best hostel I ever been! It's clean, nice, comfortable, great location, great staff, great kitchen, nice&clean bathrooms. Great! Don't doubt about it! I had an excellent time here!

Disliked: If I had to say something, it's that you don't get a breakfast, but you have coffe & tea available the hole day.

Liked: Cleanliness, friendly and helpful staff.

Disliked: As a single traveller over 50 I was unable to share a room and the private room was airless and very small.

Liked: Very helpful and friendly stuff, they genially want you to feel comfortable and happy. The atmosphere is very homely, cosy and relax. The rooms are very clean, duvets and bed liners and new and modern.

Liked: Easy to get to and within walking distance to most things. Very friendly staff. Able to check in quickly to rush off to football game. Clean and tidy, Helpful with maps and suggestiions of places to eat. Organised to see flamenco dancing and went out for paella afterwards. Computers and wifi. Use of kitchen.

Disliked: Nothing, Just need to be careful with not wetting floors.

Liked: This was the best hostel i've been to yet. The place is super clean and cute and the staff is really nice and helpful. I felt like i was in a really safe environment and there was a homely feeling to the place. The location wasn't in the most exciting part of Barcelona but it's pretty close to a metro so who cares. I im definitely gonna stay here again the next time i'm in Barcelona and i'd recommend it to anyone.
