Liked: Friendly staff, quaint location but a quick metro ride to any main parts of the city. Bathrooms always kept clean and have a homely touch to them.

Disliked: With the window open the various traffic noises were quite loud (seemingly non-stop rubbish collectors through the night), however bearable when left slightly open.

Liked: Nice, quiet, peaceful. Perfect place if you want to sleep at night, and not listening the idiot partykids, like at the most hostlels.

Liked: The staff was nice.

Disliked: The bathroom is in extreme need of a remodel, the toilet was disgusting, and the room was a jail cell. Location is horrid as well.

Liked: It was close to a metro station and a small grocery store.

Disliked: Sute Hostel needs to get its act together. I understand its a hostel, and not a five star hotel, but it needs to work on its organization and cleaning services. My friend and I were told to pay a certain price for our entire stay when we arrived there, but then were told on the last night that we have an outstanding balance. The price charged for the last night did not match the price we booked the hostel for. Also, we booked a 6 person female room and the second night we were there, I walk into the room and find a mattress on the floor because they had overbooked the room. The third day, I was told I need to switch rooms to a mixed dorm, with no clear explanation. When they confirmed that I had booked an all female room, they had no explanation for why I needed to change rooms. Also, the bathrooms are terrible. The one bathroom of the entire floor does not have hot water for the shower and the water does not drain. So you end up standing in dirty water with all kinds of hair in it. By far the worst hostel I've stayed in.

Liked: For a bed to sleep it's just Ok, we met some guys from other contury and they are really nice. The linen is dirty

Disliked: Cold showers and flooded bathrooms... Dampened my stay.

Liked: The hostel has set up a relaxed environment for travellers to meet and socialise. I would recommend this hostel for travellers between 25-35.

Disliked: One of the staff members appeared intoxicated and unwilling to refresh the toilet paper on one occasion; however, the quality of other staff members made up for this oversight.

Liked: this hostel was one of the best hostels i used to stay during my vacation to several other european countries.even though it's not that superior in presentation, i feel extremely comfortable with the atmosphere.i used the kitchen happily and enjoy their great internet connection using oth pc and wifi there. i higly recommend this one to other traveler.

Disliked: the only thing i dislike was the toilet on my floor at that time. poor toilet lighting with the shower got itself flooded perhaps the piping problem. but the toilet at the lower floor and on the same floor with the reception counter were perfect. no locker in room, but my roomates at that time were not a suspicious type of person that i should care more.

Liked: The overall atmosphere was excellent. The staff was extremely friendly and easy to talk with. I felt right at home.

Disliked: Not really a dislike, but it's a bit far from the city center. Anyway, easy to reach via metro.

Liked: Great atmosphere at the hostel! You feel here so much casual, almost as at home. Very friendly stuff, not dealing too much about when you have to leave, we could even leave our baggages here for the whole day and use the services at the day of our depart.

Disliked: nothing to stay...

Liked: The atmosphere of the guests, from all over Europe and age between 20-30 is friendly and helpful. Nights where relatively peaceful, there was a safety locker, and the hostel is 5 min walk from the metro.

Disliked: The person in charge of the reception run it in a completely unacceptable fashion. Upon arriving to the hostel in the afternoon the host was sleeping off a hang over and the room was not made ready for the guests- we then had to make our own beds when he finally got up half an hour later. In the morning other guests let in the new guests for check-in as the person in charge for checking in guests was sleeping and did not respond to phone, nor door bell. When cheking out we went up to his room and asked where to put the keys and that there are new guests in the reception. His answer was simply: ''Man, I don't fu** care, leave the keys at the computer downstairs''. He then continued sleeping.

Liked: Very close to Barcelona city center. The atmosphere was great, a very good bunch of people there, felt friendly and inviting

Disliked: The mattress was far too hard, no much space available in the rooms, no cupboards to keep personal belongings

Liked: Nothing

Disliked: There were no locks on the room doors, rubbish was kept in room from the previous stayers, beds were very uncomfortable, no-one was there to check us in at 3pm, bathrooms were small, dirty, not clean at all. We were meant to stay 2 nights, but only lasted one and changed to a hotel.

Liked: Safe area to be in, very friendly staff and great atmosphere, you instantly become a part of the community. Good connection to town by Metro L1 and night bus N9. Kitchen is practical and has everything you need. Staff speak very good english.

Disliked: Not the cleanest place, but its bearable and it feels like home. The single rooms are facing the road so its a little loud from all the garbage trucks. but traffic is minimal. Dorms on the other side have quiet balconies.

Disliked: noise insullation is not good, a lot of noise from people in the other room. no air con.

Liked: The staff is very friendly. He attended to all complaints and tried his best to fix it. He recommended us to take the train to airport which is way cheaper and an easier way compared to the one suggested by Hostel Bookers.

Disliked: Shower is sometimes dirty. Bed is not the best but that is expected for the price paid.
