Liked: There was a laundry/dryer machine and the staff is helpful. The lockers are really nice.

Disliked: During my stay, one of the large windows mysteriously slammed open in the middle of the night. It was difficult to close and I had to get staff to close it and woke up my 10 other roommates.

Liked: The lockers! Great with lockers in the rooms and that the dorms were locked too. In addition the area was nice, though far from the centre of town.

Disliked: It was too far from the centre, and the breakfast was a bit sad. The computers too were unthrustworthy and too few of them. In addition would be great if the wifi had worked in the rooms.

Liked: The staff is friendly and helpful. Spacious dining and kitchen area. Hostel makes an effort to keep it clean.

Disliked: No dislikes but location is a little off the central area.

Liked: it is clean, and i like its location (away from crowded place but accecible to public transportation). but what most consoled me was your comforting staff, jurey (did i spell it right?), your reception staff from 1500 to 2300hrs of my stay. he was very comforting and sympathetic and gave comforting words after learning that just after arrival in barcelona, on the way to the hostel, in pieda de gracia, i was robbed of my black backpack containing my notebook, various usb files, 2 DVDs, airline tickets, cash money and other valuable documents and materials. I REALLY APPRECIATED HIS EFFORTS TO CONSOLE AND APPEASE MY DISAPPOINTMENT.

Disliked: there is nothing i really dislike. ah, one thing (but not dislike but only a little disappointed), the towel will cost me 2.5 euros. since i lost my money in the robbery, i could not rent one cause i am trying to save as much. i satisfied myself using my shirts for drying up myself.

Liked: The location is okay. Its near a metro.

Disliked: It is located in a small neighborhood and when you arrive in the evening, almost all the stores are closed and the nearest resto opened at night is four blocks away.

Liked: I stayed in 2-beds room with my 13-old daughter and it was very clean, safe, comfortable and nice. It's very easy to reach (50m from metro). The beds were good, room was so clean and quiet.

Disliked: Breakfast could have been a little better, eg. darker bread/youghurt/fruit. The description in the web page is a little too open "we like to dream" and gives a suspicious image, when the hotel itself is really neat.

Liked: I would like to say a big, fat GRACIAS to the staff:) They were really nice and helpful. The hostel is really clean. There is so nice atmosphere that I didn wanted to say goodbye and went back to my country...

Disliked: Nothing:)

Liked: While i was in the 12 person room the room was large and there wasn't too many problems. The showers and bathrooms were clean and the kitchen was large and easy to use.

Disliked: It is kind of out of the way but with the metro it isn't horrible, plus it is near a nice beach.

Liked: They have secure storage locker for each person which is fantastic. Very close to beautiful clean beaches.

Disliked: It's so far out of town and away from the hype that is Barcelona which is a shame.

Liked: The atmosphere was really cool, friendly staff, really nice rooms If you want to see the real Barcelona outside all the tourists and prices which are too high(!), you have to come here - it's near the beach where just Barcelonians go, it's calm and friendly and if you are the whole day in the city, it's a nice adjustment to go there ( and with the metro, it's easy to reach in about 15 minutes from the city center)

Disliked: the breakfast was not that fantastic because there was not that great assortment (bread, butter, marmelade and cornflakes)- it could be a little bit more copious - but it was okay

Liked: I liked the friendly stuff, the electronic locking system with the cards and the whole atmosphere was great. Had a great time.

Disliked: I think the only negative thing is the distance to the city center.

Liked: Amazing! Best and most fun hostel Ive ever visited. So clean, so much to do inside the hostel, great bathrooms and kitchen, close to the beach, and a great environment. Met so many people here. Close to the beach!

Disliked: Far away from city center.. But that was not a huge issue as metro was just outside the hostel

Liked: It has a lovely atmosphere, is really good if your a solo traveller like me because there are loadsa social areas and you can drink at the hostel, so a really easy way to meet people. It is VERY clean and the rooms big and safe

Disliked: Location wise it is not ideal if you want to go out every night and be in the middle of the city centre, but I stayed in Las Ramblas for 3 nights so was really nice at the end of the trip for somewhere a bit quieter

Liked: Everything. Staff is very helpful and friendly, rooms are a little small but not at all cramped, personal lockers are included, very nice and well kept bathroom facilities, and plenty of places just to relax. They also serve breakfast which, while simple cereal and toast, is a nice touch and a very nice and well stocked kitchen. We met plenty of interesting people during our stay there and will definitely stay again if we vacation in Barcelona again.

Disliked: My friend and I are having trouble thinking of anything we disliked about it so I think that speaks for itself. The only downside is that it's not in the city, but it's literally across the street from the metro and from there it's only a 10-20 minute ride to pretty much anywhere you want to go

Liked: The place was really clean and had a good atmosphere. The breakfast was also decent.

Disliked: The location is not that great, although it is a 10-15 min walk to the beach and the neighborhood seems safe. Also, if you don't like second hand smoke, you probably won't be hanging around the common area. It is a smoke free zone, but smokers are all out side the door and it becomes very potent throughout the hostal.

Liked: Quiet location out of the city, but still within the metro zone for ease and economy of travel. Private rooms were available and of hotel quality.

Disliked: Double rooms are actually twin beds. Would have been nice to be told that the beach within walking distance was closed for construction before booking.

Disliked: Noisy, the room that they gave us first night was too bad. After we complained they changed us to a better room...

Liked: It was opened 24/7, the management was really flexible about the booking, really nice to meet people, they had internet pc's available all the time

Liked: the amenities and facilities were very nice. the rooms and especially the washrooms were very clean and the rooms are spacious. staff is very nice and the maps provided were very useful.

Disliked: there were a lot of rules regarding behaviour, including 'no eating in your room', 'no laundry after 11pm' which were annoying and a little insulting. did not like being treated like children in that respect.
