Liked: Hostel staff was very friendly and helpful. He provided a lot of travel tips which made the stay in hostel and Barcelona a more pleasant one. Location was good because it is very near metro and have a number of cafes, supermarkets, shops and restaurants nearby.

Disliked: Nothing

Liked: The hostel is located very close to all major tourist spots and has everything you need just around the corner (metro, supermarket).

Disliked: The bathrooms could be cleaner, some of the mattresses are absolutely uncomfortable. There are hooks missing in the rooms and one of the bathrooms.

Liked: The hostel is a flat in a lovely old house with character but the main plus is the incredibly helpful and obliging owner!! Thanks, Gustavo!!

Disliked: Nothing really. Maybe a bit more cutlery in the kitchen would help but not really a problem if you are a bit inventive....

Liked: The hostel felt more like a home. Gustavo, the owner, is so friendly, kind and helpful which made our stay all the more better. Great facilities and awesome location!!! Would recommend!!

Disliked: windows could do with some fly screens.

Liked: It was very quaint and cozy. It felt more like an apartment than a hostel. Gustavo, the man running the hostel, is one of the nicest people we have ever met!

Disliked: Nothing, it was great.

Liked: free wifi and owner was helpful and speaks good english

Disliked: room is very tiny compared to photos, very hot in summer with no air con or fans. 2 bathrooms for 20 people was annoying. no permanent reception meant others there made plenty of noise and played music until 3-4am with paper thin walls. dont stay here better places around for the same amount of money.

Liked: The hostel was within walking distance of the centre but far enough away to escape the noise.

Disliked: There is only two bathrooms so there was sometimes a queue.

Disliked: we only get one blanket with no cover at all, and I guess it was used before us and nobody washed it

Liked: The property was in close walking distance to La Ramblas and the centre of the city. The staff were so friendly and helpful and the property had a lovely feel about it. I felt I was getting an authentic experience.

Disliked: Staff were slightly disorganised regarding our arrival, but this was easily resolved. For people who are fussy about the appearance of bathrooms they may have been put off, but everything was perfectly clean.

Liked: Excellent position close by to many of the city centre attractions, benefiting from good transport links, and close by a couple of moderate eating places.

Disliked: Bathrooms not adequate for large groups of people that occupied the premises. Rooms could have been a bit more welcoming. Lacked atmosphere.

Liked: The elevator was awesome, the location was fantastic and the balcony was great too. The WI-Fi was free of charge. Helpful guy. The information table in the kitchen helped a lot.

Disliked: The bathtube was dirty.

Liked: It was a good price, however, you got what you paid for. A little extra spent could have gone a long way extra in retrospect

Disliked: The double room we stayed in was very small and basic, unlike the pictures advertised, there were two bigger (and nicer) rooms, however, it seems to be hit and miss what you get. The hostel was very noisy (hard to sleep) and disorganised. Instructions of how to check in were also confused. Oh and DOES NOT ACCEPT CARD PAYMENTS. IF YOU ARE STAYING HERE TAKE CASH.
