Liked: Loved it. Very clean, comfortable and fairly cheap. Met a lot of nice fellow travellers, the staff was friendly, helpful and even organized clubbing trips!

Liked: All the staff were very helpful and friendly, and were very knowledgeable about transport, night-life and opening times/prices etc. They also took a personal interest in every customer which I thought was very sweet.

Disliked: There is no atmosphere or character to the hostel whatsoever - with so many funky and original hostels in Europe, this one felt like a cheap YHA in Yorkshire. The rooms were clean, but nothing above the ordinary. There wasn't much social life organised, and the communal area was a natural-light deficient basement playing Adele on repeat. And most of all, I resented paying for the internet, when so many other hostels offer this service for free. It strikes me that Nest has a slight monopoly over hostels in Spain, and they don't hesitate to promote their partner hostels in other cities. This I felt was also a little disingenuous. The ratings for this hostel could be so high because Barcelona is the first stop for many new travellers who (sorry to say) don't have much to compare with.

Liked: Amazing hostel. I stayed there for 2 entire weeks and I had the best time over there. I was very reluctant to leave it even after I found a permanent apartment to stay in. It's an amazing place to stay. Definitely a must for anyone who wants to have a good time. Bathrooms aplenty, lovely kitchen system. hot water everywhere!

Disliked: The wi fi signal doesn't permeate into all the rooms! Need another router on the first floor!

Liked: The rooms were cheap and the vibe was nice in the hostel. most people were young so it was nice to meet other similar people

Disliked: you have to pay extra to use the computers, buy a lock, and buy breakfast. i think that some free services go a long way

Liked: Nice atmosphere, clean showers, near the metrostation, friendly staff. I would highly recommend this place.

Liked: cheap breakfast was nice and it was very well kept

Disliked: the staff were jerks they would not let you in the bathroom at all even if they were cleaning a sink they never had change tried to pay for breakfast with a 10 and they gave change in 0,50 which is ridiculous then asked best way to get the the airport at 5am and they said to sleep there

Disliked: there were not so much of space in the rooms. Also no one changed the sheets while we were there for 5 days.

Liked: Very clean

Disliked: Music being pumped through the hostel in the middle of the night and early morning. If I wanted non-stop thumping bass lines I'd have slept in a night club.

Liked: Very friendly staff and well placed next to the metro. Great hang out areas and good sized kitchen for cooking.

Disliked: Very little to complain about. Your typical hostel.
