Liked: Great location. It's a flat and we had the opportunity to socialise with other guests in the kitchen and the living room. Clean and safe.

Disliked: You have to climb like 70 or 80 steps to get to the flat. But once you do it once, you get used to it easily. It's not as bad as it sounds.

Liked: Eveything was fine besides the shower drains...there is a climbing procedure to get to the top of the building but shouldnt be a problem if you are young and backpackin alrready!

Disliked: The stairs!

Liked: Great location, just off Las Rambles. Shower is great! Full kitchen to use, great for eating in if you're on a budget. Good value for money. After you have been let in to the hostel you are not bothered again and left alone, which we like.

Disliked: The bed was awful! Very noisy and lumpy. Not a place to stay if you are looking for a romantic get-away. No hand wash. Main door to the building was unlocked most of the time which was worrying but the door to the hostel is very secure.

Liked: The rooms and communal area very clean and comfortable which was great :) also liked the location, right off Las Ramblas

Disliked: If you're looking to meet new people best stay at a hostel as every group here tends to stick to there own, but we still liked that.

Liked: In the heart of Las Ramblas, very clean tidy and well kept. Good size hostel, well decorated and clean!!

Disliked: The location is in Raval, although amazing for Las Ramblas and very convienent to get anywhere from, it's not the safest of disricts in Barcelona, walking back is scary at night. Good to go in a bigger group/with body guards!

Liked: Perfect location, just next to main street La Ramblas, easy to reach other sights. Very good value for money! Highly recommend for budget travelers.

Disliked: Nothing really, maybe the staircase but we were prepared for that so it was ok and quite a fun.

Liked: Great location, very nice price, smily housekeeping ladies :) and sport facilities every day using 80-step-stairs :)

Disliked: noise from the street can make a trouble for your beauty sleep, but who is going to Barcelona to sleep? ;)

Liked: Great Location near Las Ramblas and Liceu metro station. Top floor so bright, sunny rooms. Nice fully-equipped kitchen, very clean, two showers (always hot and powerful). Very friendly staff. Our room was very big for a double and the juliette balcony was lovely too.

Disliked: The only thing is the stairs, it's the top floor (4th) but by the time you get to the top at least you have sobered up a bit ;)

Liked: The location was central to Barri Gotic.

Disliked: The stairs- 82 steep narrow dangerous ones that were poorly lit, the promised wifi didn't exist, the cockroaches, the smell, no natural light or air.

Liked: We stayed in an apartment. Athough it was not the most modern apartment I've seen, it surely was well-located, clean, safe and spacious. Surely value for it's money!

Disliked: Everything was just fine!

Liked: Easy to meet other travellers, feels very communal because it's such a small place. Great location, just down the road from La Ramblas.

Disliked: Have to walk up so many stairs to get to the hostel cause it's on the top floor. They say three floors but it feels like way more stairs than that! No staff at the hostel, no reception, they just meet you and give you a key. So if you want advice/help there is no assistance.

Liked: Great location. Good kitchen, clean. Free wifi. Not too big.

Disliked: Very steep stairs, on fifth floor and no elevator. No staff on site, they just meet you there so if you have questions or problems, you have to phone.

Liked: A 5 minute walk from all the hustle and bustle on La Rambla so a great location. Very spacious room which was clean. Modern kitchen which is always clean.

Disliked: There are five flights of stairs (website says they're on the fourth level) so beware. There's no reception to help with questions but if you don't have any then that's fine. It's stinking hot in summer because you're up so high but they have fans that help (a little).
