Liked: The location was central to Barri Gotic.

Disliked: The stairs- 82 steep narrow dangerous ones that were poorly lit, the promised wifi didn't exist, the cockroaches, the smell, no natural light or air.

Liked: We stayed in an apartment. Athough it was not the most modern apartment I've seen, it surely was well-located, clean, safe and spacious. Surely value for it's money!

Disliked: Everything was just fine!

Liked: Easy to meet other travellers, feels very communal because it's such a small place. Great location, just down the road from La Ramblas.

Disliked: Have to walk up so many stairs to get to the hostel cause it's on the top floor. They say three floors but it feels like way more stairs than that! No staff at the hostel, no reception, they just meet you and give you a key. So if you want advice/help there is no assistance.

Liked: Great location. Good kitchen, clean. Free wifi. Not too big.

Disliked: Very steep stairs, on fifth floor and no elevator. No staff on site, they just meet you there so if you have questions or problems, you have to phone.

Liked: A 5 minute walk from all the hustle and bustle on La Rambla so a great location. Very spacious room which was clean. Modern kitchen which is always clean.

Disliked: There are five flights of stairs (website says they're on the fourth level) so beware. There's no reception to help with questions but if you don't have any then that's fine. It's stinking hot in summer because you're up so high but they have fans that help (a little).

Liked: Although the shower alternated between scalding hot and freezing cold, the apartment was very nice and included a kitchen. The hostel is located on the 3rd floor (80 stairs up) and is just a quick walk from Las Ramblas in Barcelona. We booked a private triple and it was a very nice room. Everything was clean.

Liked: The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom, kitchen and common areas always clean and in order. You need good legs to get up the many stairs (four floors!). The location was good for accessibility and easy to find. Right next to the Rambla and close to the Port. Very good quality for the price!

Liked: Nothing! Bad place where to stay! With the pretext that are no more available rooms in hostel we were moved at Market apartment where was very very cold - there was one heat (very small) in the entire apartament.The 24 hour hot showers was actually 10 minutes hot shower. And was very noisy.

Liked: Only airconditioner is in the foyer area and it turns off automatically at night. No airconditioning in rooms. No mention of half hour wait for someone to come and let you in. In a very unsafe area, we got robbed whilst waiting to be let in.

Liked: Nice place to stay. Close to the Ramblas, but therefore noisy in the rooms located to the street. New kitchen and livingroom, both clean. Bathrooms a little small and showers old fashioned, but still clean.We recommend this hostel to all visitors to barcelona who are interested in having a nice stay.There's no reception, so don't forget to call the staff prior to your arrival at the hostel. Otherwise you probably won't get in the hostel or even find it.

Liked: Although the rooms are nice and seem reasonably good value compared with other hostels, it is on a very dodgy street. While we stayed other people staying had their bags stolen outside the hostel. The air con is minimally used - in the lounge and has the remote taken away by the managers so you can't turn it on, especially at night when it gets hot with people cooking in the kitchen. There is no place to leave your luggage on departure and on arrival annoying having to ring and arrange to meet the owner, we were left waiting outside (guarding our bags) for 20 minutes.

Liked: It was a nice and clean hostel. We had problems with our luggage and the staff was very helpful. To bad we didn't know that we had to call the staff before we were at the hostel. There was no sign or anything and we didn't know if we were at the right adress. It would be better if you would put on the site that you have to call the telephone number if you are close to the adress, so that you don't have to wait half an hour for the staff to come. We had a very good time at the hostel. But also to bad that there was no airco in the rooms, only a fan.

Liked: The location is very good and central, the appartment is beautiful, but it is located on the fifth floor without lift and with stairs very narrow and very dirty. We had not understood that we had to call to our arrival and this is not mentioned in our e-mail confirmation of booking.Besides we had to payd for the delay (after 10:00 p.m.) for only 3 minutes of later!They write that there is air conditioning but this is not true, the room is very hot and we slept with window open, the noise was very high.
