Customer reviewEverything was what I expected. Great location, helpful staff. Breakfast was a joke and the ad does not mention having to pay extra for linens. |

tanya baileyStaff were very helpful with places to see, safety around Barcelona, what's on etc. I'd stay here again for sure. Free internet was great. Liked having boys and girls toilets/showers separate. I was here in low season but there were still plenty of people staying, met some great people. Lockers for personal items in rooms is great too. Breakfast not too bad either. Kitchen on sight too which helps. I'd recommend the free walking tour and going to Gaudi's house a MUST for all (forget the right name, but ask Hector). |

Customer reviewIt is a pity that sheets are not provided. The kitchen is basic enough to use, which is good. Beds in the dorm room are close together and finding space for your bags is difficult. Security is very good with 24hr staff and lockers. The location is not easy to find in the maze of streets at the centre of Barcelona. However, once you get used to it the location is great - right in the centre! |

Meredith JohnsonI liked nothing about this place. If you want to party all night and come home and puke...stay here. Otherwise stay somewhere else. |

Customer reviewReasonably intimate - although still full of party people, had a relatively tranquil atmosphere... |

Joelle RahméThe place is nice, and the staff as well. The problem is that it needs some large common space, it's a bit small and narrow which doesn't leave much space for encounters. If you're looking for crazy party it's not the right place but if you're looking for a nice calm place, you surely could go there. |

Alexander RecinosNot allowed with alcohol at the hostel which sux, as well really hot rooms and the night staff (one of them) was really rude, somethign that seems to be mandatory for nightstaff at hostels in barcelona.. |

Customer reviewVery clean, very friendly and helpful staff, great location on Ramblas and across from a traveler's bar. Some rooms were very small so crowded, but we were lucky and had a good room. We got sheets and towels for free. |

Lewis CopeOnly stayed for one night but found that it was in an excellent location, with very friendly and helpful staff. Stayed in the 6 bed dorm, which was a little small for a longer stay but no worse than what you'd expect for a city centre accomodation. Would happily stay there in future. |

claudia enriquezthe location of the hostel is great. Las Ramblas is right around the corner, about a 10-15 min walk to the beach, la boqueria market is a 5 min walk, basically right in the city center located close to everything. the airport is 25 mins by bus. hector, one of the receptionists, is extremely helpful and friendly. other staff members are pretty helpful, just get on their good side. go to the travel bar, a very fun bar where you meet lots of tourists--make a right at the door, then a left and walk like 30 seconds and it's on your right. great deal for your money considering the proximity to everything and the metro is very close by. a little difficult finding the hostel, so here are some directions: from the metro Liceu go up the steps and keep walking straight and look for hostel paris(big yellow letters) on the left hand side of the street. cross the street but go straight, do not go to where it says hostel paris. keep sraight when you cross the street and pass a couple bars such as cheers and travel bar. then you make a right where there is a sign that says youth hostel and it is a large green door on the left hand side. another note: no air conditioning so be prepared if you're travelling in the summer, it can get quite hot, but they do have fans. |
