Liked: Friendly and helpful staff and a great location near some great sights and bars. Had free use of in room lockers.

Disliked: Cannot lock room and the bathroom was being renovated so there was only one shower and could get quite noisy from the works.

Liked: this place was great! i initially didn't like the look of the hostel, but the atmosphere of the people quickly made up for it. the hostel is situated in a perfect location, right in the centre of everything. the guys working at reception are extremely friendly and helpful. the hostel feels very safe. i'd definitely stay here again.

Disliked: generally a good hostel for what you pay. breakfast is pretty basic, but sufficient. sometimes need to wait for a shower.

Liked: The staff at this property were extremely friendly and helpful. They also spoke very good English so communication was easy. The location is excellent as it is right by Las Ramblas which is a good place to be as it is not too far from the beach and the bars in the area are buzzing at night. I would definitely stay there again.

Disliked: The beds in our room were a little bit too close together, but I feel that that is just me being fussy. Also, take note that you are not allowed to drink in the hostel, which for me and my friend was a little disappointing.

Liked: The owners are so helpful with anything you might need around the city. The best places to eat, drink and see whilst you are in town. Would highly recommend to anybody looking for a comfortable, relaxed stay in Barcelona. There is something for everyone and the atmosphere in the lounge and Kitchen is tremendous.

Disliked: Being so close to the centre of town, you may find yourself wanting to go out and see something everyday. You can always go somewhere either by walking or by train. With Barcelona so close to your fingertips, kinda hard not to wanna see it all.

Liked: Gentleman who worked the day shift was helpful. I wasn't thrilled about no Air Conditioning at facitity in the middle of summer, but the room I was in had numerous fans, which made it bearable and comfortable when sleeping.

Disliked: Kind of a shady place. No locks on room doors (but they did have a locker for you to lock up your valuables.) One of the guys who worked at nighty was strange. He would walk around the rooms w/ a flash light, shining it on every bunk as if he were checking on kids in an orphanage. Thought it was kind of ridiculous. Plus I wasn't thrilled about being woken up w/ a bright light beaming in my face. Bathrooms were not that clean and b/c theres no AC the minute you get out, your sweating again.

Liked: Excellent atmosphere, very chill and quiet. The staff was incredibly helpful and willing to assist you at any time. When we arrived they pointed us to the best things in the city, what to go to, and what to skip. They also gave us an overview of several ways people rob you so we cold be aware. The staff was very patient with us foreigners. Bathrooms and beds were very clean (and comfortable!), warm showers, toilet paper and soap were always in stock. Wifi works and is rather rapid. The hostel is quite hidden and I felt very safe leaving my stuff there during the day. It is located very close to everything. There is also a security guard on staff at night, and desk staff is available 24 hours a day.

Disliked: The painting and designs on the walls was a little ammeter and poorly done, but I think it was supposed to be that way, to instill a 'youth' vibe.

Disliked: well i came in high season booked only a night before arrival so i cannot complain for the price but Barcelona hostels are much cheaper (usually 15-20 Eu per bed)

Liked: great location on la rambla. internet was fast. hector was so friendly and helped us with everything he could, the other guy was more interested in surfing the net than dealing with us

Disliked: the only thing that could be improved was the sinlge powerpoint in our room that powered the fan. if they had a 4 point adjoining it, it would be perfect

Liked: There was a lounge with a TV where you might meet people, and they had a kitchen. There were also 2 computers available for use. There was no air conditioning, but my room had a pretty powerful fan that kept me fairly cool.

Disliked: The showers weren´t very clean, and there was construction going on early in the morning that always woke me up. The staff wasn´t too friendly.

Liked: Very good location and also very helpful people to give you guidlines and help you to explore Barcelona more easily,especially Hector! I met very nice people in the TV room that we had fun in the following days.

Disliked: didn't like first night 6 people room but 8 people room was great!

Liked: The location was great and there was free wifi. Some of the staff were excellent.

Disliked: NO ALCOHOL ALLOWED IN THE HOSTEL, which was not advertised! The creepy guy at the front desk with the glasses was rude, and switched lights off in the rooms at midnight, whether you were the only person in there or not, and always entered rooms without knocking, not cool when girls are geting changed. There was work going on at 6am in the building and we were not advised on this before staying, which resulted in never getting a good sleep. Breakfast was very poor, we dont know why they bothered and the kitchen was very basic, not somewhere that you can cook easily.

Liked: Free internet and breakfast. Late check out! Really helpful staff. Really good location, excellent pillows and free towel to use.

Disliked: Nothing really. Would have been nice if there was a balcony or roof garden to sit out side.

Liked: Location, free internet and thats all.

Disliked: The creepy guy at the front desk with the glasses!! Lack of privacy, no locks on the doors so very poor security, lights out at 12am, no alcohol, poor maintainence, (girls toilet door doesnt shut, holes in wall). Very old building, jackhammers working at 6am, very noisy outside, and breakfast was shit. Wouldnt reccomend to anyone as many have left reviews similar to mine and nothing has changed.
