Liked: The price to stay a night in BCN was cheap and with that, everything is said. If you are looking for a cheap place to stay without luxery, then Dos Reinos is ok.

Disliked: There was no room where fellow visitors of the hostel could meet. Also all the facilities were very basic, maybe too basic.

Liked: Good location, and It is truly located in a very old building, in which the rooms, though old, have a really classic touch to it.

Disliked: 1. there's construction going on for the facade of the building, which starts at 8am right outside of the window; nonetheless, no information of the sort was passed on to us when we checked in. 2. During our entire stay there (4 days), we've never once seen either owner at the reception. As a matter of fact, when we asked for reception hours upon check-in, "we don't have regualr reception hours", said one of the two owners. 3. There's a kitchen which we were told is for the owners's private use only. And strangely, some other guests at the hostal were granted access by the owners themselves, for whatever reason I would not trouble myself to speculate here, and there was a party going on with bad, loud music and kitchen smoke all over the entire floor. 4. the elevator is so old-styled that if anyone leaves one of the two (outside/inside) doors open on any floor, the elevator won't move, and therefore, no one would be able to use it. Once we failed to close it fast, and it swung open, we were hunted down by one of the two owners, who appeared out of nowhere (as I mentioned before, they were never once at the reception desk) and demanded that I go out to close it. I thought when he came to our room, he would have closed it himself, and was just trying to warn me of the inconcenience it might cause for others. But no, I went out to close the door and he tapped his finger twice on the notice as if saying, "are you blind?" Instead of explaining that it was an accident, I should have said, "since it's so important, perhaps you could have toured us around and explained things more to us when we checked in. Besides, how are we supposed to know how things function there since we've never lived in an old building like that before". In general, the whole thing was really unpleasant.

Liked: location was really good, in between two different metro stations and within walking distance to placa catalunya, ramblas, etc.

Disliked: The washrooms were a little substandard.

Liked: The hostel is located in a quiet part of the city, but it's very close to the Gotic. The building is beautiful and old. Our room had a wonderful closed balcony. A basic hostel, no kitchen or breakfast or common room, but refrigerator in rooms, towels provided and clean bathrooms, although only one shower for all shared rooms.

Disliked: Jessica left no negative feedback.

Liked: it was near the center so to see most of city's heritage i didn't have to use any kind of tranposrtation

Disliked: windows were a bit old and they seemed to be broken in any minute also the bathroom was not very clean

Liked: We feel in this hostel like in the old museum. It is good for our progect to feel our selfs in Barcelona in the beginning of the 20th century. It is not luxury, but clean and with wonderful view from the window.

Disliked: To arrange better accomodation for their guests owners must investigate in reconstruction of the bathroom.

Disliked: Dirtyness, oldness, bad service (they did not change towells nor bed in three whole days) and for most of the time nobody was there for check in/check out.

Liked: The property was extremely well located and the welsh guy who was running the hostel was quality, very helpful! Rooms were basic but comfortable and perfect for a place to sleep.

Liked: location is perfect, very close to Bari Gotic and La Rambla, close to the bus station from the Girona airport

Disliked: hostel needs some renovation, it's old, but clean, there is only one bathroom in the hostel, so when it's fully booked it could be problematic, at nights during the weekend it's loud from the street

Liked: The staff was really friendly, the location is simply awesome, at the beginning of La Rambla. The best value for the price paid.

Disliked: The bath leaked a bit, but nothing major.

Liked: staff, (although rarely seen) was nice. the location is very ideal, it is a central point to everything, and we rarely ever took the metro/bus.

Disliked: Not a clean place, smells bad, atmosphere is bad, not a good place if you´re looking to meet people.
