Liked: Beautiful hostel with very friendly staff. Hot showers. Free WiFi. For 2.50Euro theres brekkie of cereal, toast, coffee and orange juice. Further out of city but only a 15 min ride on metro to get there. The only annoyance was noise from lower ground echoing throughout building. Would stay again and would recommend to others.

Liked: I can´t say enough for the staff at this hostel - I arrived with food poisoning and they called the nearest doctor to tell them I was coming, called a taxi, gave directions to the driver and sorted out everything for the rest of my stay. It is a lovely, funky hostel with great facilities but a little far out of the city centre. However, the metro is only 5 minutes walk up the road and the district is safe. Definitely recommended.

Liked: Feet-Up Garden Hostel Barcelona is a lovely place to stay. It is located in a quiet residential area, but there are enough facilities near-by to suit all of your needs. It is not far from the metro stop either. The hostel itself is tastefully decorated and is clean and has helpful and friendly staff at hand. I would definitely stay here again, the only negative things about the hostel was the absence of an oven (although you could survive without it) and the breakfast cost 2.50 (though you can eat all you want).

Liked: Beautiful place, simpatico people, good atmosphere. People don`t walk through the halls, they levitate on a layer of calm and melancholic happiness. Unfortunately it`s a spanish hostel (which makes it a tiny bit evil), and part of a chain (which makes it very evil), so add about 5eur to the price as breakfast isn`t included, the metro is required everytime to get into the city, and the internet isn`t free (wifi is). It really is quite super, but not quite as cheap as it appears...

Liked: Everything was good in the hostel: clean, cozy, friendly stuff. But it is way too far from everything. Close to metro station if you don't mind taking it there and back everyday. Despite the hostel is far from the center it was still noisy, especially in the early morning when cars and people were passing by the window of our room.

Liked: My stay at the Garden House was a very positive experience. I would highly recommend this hostel to anyone traveling to Barcelona. The Garden house has a very friendly and outgoing atmosphere, and it is easy to make friendships that last as long as your journey or longer. The staff is very outgoing and friendly, and on top of it they are very knowledgeable of Barcelona and the surrounding areas.

Liked: Great atmosphere. Great kitchen. Great building. The only reason why I rated facilities average is I felt there weren't enough showers and toilets for the capacity of the hostel. But meh, we dealt with it.

Liked: nice to spend a few days out of te city centre, but we moved into the city for the weekend. La Horta area is very nice and lots of parks near by. it rained one day so it was good to have the small lounge area, and the terrace and garden would have been good if the weather was. very safe and secure, staff very friendly and tried their best to help.

Liked: Great place to meet people and relax. Staff was also very friendly and helpful with information. The hostel is within walking distance (5 to 10 min) to two different Metro stations (Horta and Valldaura), so there are transportation problems only for those who want to party in town after midnight on weekdays. And if you forget the shopping, there is a vending machine for snacks and drinks at the hostel.

Liked: It had a beautiful terrace. Lovely garden. Breakfast was plain but meh. Receptionists were hot.It's a long ways a way from everything but the description says all. It's a great place to be away and not give a rats!
